There's a lot of natural resources in the country. Of cource the EU would want to get their fingers into it and get some connections for the future. I'm eager to find out if there's something special about the region of Ituri in this regard. A battalion can do nothing for the millions already dead in the country.Comment

I'm not saying that's the only reason or even the reason. I just predicted that it's probably something special about the region and voila! It would seem strange that they would take a risk of seeing men returing in bodybags just to protect some locals.Comment
