"A few years back, Apple spotted a business opportunity in Iceland's fear of electronic English infiltration. It translated its software into Icelandic and mounted a marketing campaign on the theme of minority-language protection.
Kristinsson has one of Apple's promotional posters on his office wall. It features a list of words that an Icelandic child might pick up via English-language Windows, with the legend, "What kind of child do you want to have?""
Indeed - you guys should go apple! Fascinating article, by the way! I knew that Microsoft didn't support as many languages as Apple did, but this reveals lows to which I didn't think even they would go...

Microsoft and the government of Iceland announced jointly that the company would create a localized Icelandic version of Windows 98, the company's newest operating system. As a part of the agreement, the Icelandic Government is to take measures to reduce the illegal use of software in Iceland. Iceland's Minister of Education, Science and Culture, Mr. Björn Bjarnason and Microsoft's General Manager Nordic, Mr. Mats Wennberg, made the announcement today in Reykjavik. The agreement is the culmination of an iniative, taken by Mr. Bjarnason in 1996 to make localised computer software available to the Icelandic public.
"It was clear from our conversations with the government that Icelanders are investing in technology and taking advantage of its great value in business, learning and even at play. The rate of PC penetration and Internet access in Iceland is impressive and demonstrated clearly that this would be a smart business decision for Microsoft," said Wennberg. "At the same time they were highly aware of the importance of preserving their culture and their language. As a company we are proud to work with Iceland's government to achieve both these goals. Fundamentally, Microsoft creates tools enabling people to do great things and meets our customer's needs. We're happy that Windows 98 will contribute to Iceland's culture and future."
Judging by your grammar, you are also not too keen when it comes to English.

It says a lot about the state of the anti-MS when they resort to 5 year old articles for trolls.
