Well, if all you are looking for is a pit to crash out in, suggest you enter LONDON BACKPACKER into Google and take your pick. Most seemed to be based around Victoria.

Have fun folks. Sorry, can't make it to the meet... but am happy to help with suggestions to sort out problems / ways to have fun.

EDIT: One suggestion for something to do in "the evening"... Escape from Samsara, The Fridge, Brixton. Don't worry, it's only 5 minutes walk from the Tube along the main road - if you are in a group you will be fine.

I'm not even convinced the event still exists - it's just the one that popped into my head.

Satin jacket? It would be trashed after one show! Most obvious thing is carrying 40 pouinds of bulky equipment.
