nothing , ......

at least not on brigade level , .... cause a well placed or a couple well placed nukes dont only go true the tanks armor and kill the people , the amount of electrical parts that are destroyed are to great , ......

a unit com with a mobile scud launcher with a nuke could not use it , ....... the fire and control of the artillery in the rear would be destroyed , etc , ......

one of the reason SA had 6 nukes was for this , .....

the south african truth com has revealed this , the cubans and the russians where planning to use a couple t-65 divisions to topple the gov , but those nukes stopped the danger , ...... just as its stopping our not so friendly neigbors around us from rolling us to sea

that is you find the elecrticity to fire up the lamps to find the launch button , .....

Our nuclear silos has completely autonomous power supply and multiply back-up systems. As well as our nuclear subs and our missile train.

err... I was thinking more along the lines of a massive ICBM retaliation...

I don't think Muslim extremists have nuclear weapons bought off the former USSR. If they did, why haven't they used them? I wouldn't like to see it happen, don't get me wrong.

As for Israel striking Moscow and St Petersburg, I'd be surprised. I thought Israel's deterrent was launched from the torpedo tubes of a conventional sub. Not saying it can't go 100s of kilometres, but that far? That's one very efficient missile.

Or am I completely mistaken on these points?

No, in war, the fruits of victory are ash.

The difference is that the people killed will be much more concentrated in the target area, and far fewer people will be killed downwind by fallout, including people living in neighboring states. And of course the target area will be much safer much sooner after hostilities. But if you think that killing one person is morally equivalent to killing two, then they are effectively only better in a tactical sense.

Ahh, but your missiles are Soviet designs and we all know how well the Soviets put together their cars and tractors. I remember reading back in the 80's about soviet tractors which were worth more as scap them as finished products.

Serb, Israel possesses over 100 nukes, perhaps as many as 300.

The Jericho 3 could just about hit Moscow from Israel. The Popeye Turbo SLCM's range is unknown.
