I've seen Transporter.. I thought it started pretty good, so I was excited about it. I mean like the first 20 minutes or so. But then suddenly it started to suck so bad I was almost crying. I got angry.
    In da butt.

Sci-fi and horror are the 2 worst genre.

Most movie directors and screen writers don't understand science, sadly.

I had exactly the same feelings. That intial car chase gave it promise... but it slowly went to hell after that.

Each line got worse and worse, until the last bit of dialogue...

"he was a bastad.... but he was my fatha..."
The people in the theatre actually started laughing at the film at this point.

Do you mean they are the hardest to pull off, or you just hate horror and science fiction?

Cider House Rules has to have been the most depressing movie ever.

It is extremely difficult to make a good horror movie, while it is very easy to make a bad one. Just look at all the Friday the Thirteen ones, Scream (all three of them), and Urban Legend (I suppose you could classify the last 4 as thrillers, since there isn't anything supernatural involved. However, the dividing line is rather blurry.) You get a masked killer to chase after a helpless woman, who will inevitably get brutalised, while playing some awful "mood enhancing" music. If not that, come up with some gory and ugly "thing," and let it run around killing people. It's so boring, it's so stock.

To me, it's not the depressing part the got to me. It's the utterly contrived script. It's so heavyhanded, with events just heaped on top of each other.

Such a bad waste of my time.
