they accepted the plea bargin, so as of july 1st i'll be sentenced and this will hopefully be over

i was charged with statutory, attempted statutory, and two lessor charges related to statutory...so super sneak and AH were right

7 weeks before my gf's birthday we decided to sneak out one night and her parents caught us, and although she had on all of her clothes i was like half naked, so it was a pretty bad situation, in fact her mom hit me a bunch of times in the face and busted my lip, it was a pretty crazy night, and although we hadn't done anything yet that night i still looked guilty as hell

anyways it was the prosecutor was the one who brought out in court the issue that in 7 weeks everything would have been legal, so that was cool (though earlier in the process my lawyer told me her mom wanted my blood so they actively pursed it)...i plead guilty to contributing, and hopefully it'll be over soon which would be awsome because there has been a court issued restraining order barring all contact and communication between her and I (for witness tampering reasons I assume)...so hopefully when that goes away we'll get another chance, but we'll just have to see...i love her though and hopefully love can overcome time apart

Well, you should obviously snub her mother from now on. Also if your gf really loves you, she will leave her parents over this issue. If not, then she doesn't love you and is still being a child. I guess that's why the law is as it is. Lots of people are still suck-off-their-parents children...

Yeah, I don't know how old your gf is, but do you really want to be with her if she doesn't stand up for you? You can't get along with the family later on, or do you see yourself spending thanksgiving there? How can you forget that.. she's obviously violent person, sure she was 'defending his daughter' but come on.
If you love her, that's cool, but if she loves you, she will stand up for YOU.

It takes two to tango, so if the parents can't see that.. if she wasn't objecting you and was in it as much as you, then why did they want your blood? Did your gf plead her parents and say that she was as guilty as you? Or did she try to save her own butt? Either way, I'd make her state her position with this and then stick with it even if the parents pressures her.

All I can say is...this is such a perversion of justice. That the prosecutor even bothered to go after you is a crock of BS. As Pekka said, he should have charged the mother with assault.

Well, hopefully you're getting it all behind you. I'd recommend you and your gf get out of that puritanical hellhole as soon as you are both of age. I'd have gotten the local media involved and broadcast to the world the fact that in this twisted place, making out with your girlfriend is an crime while beating a teenage boy is okay...
