On the other hand Speer, become a Democrat just to blur the lines a little and really p*ss all them off! I think I might switch sides, run for office under a fake platform, then change everything once I am elected.. Heck that's not only the republican way, it's the American way.

The limits of his "compassion" for slave laborers used in support of the activities he oversaw was that a little better treatment of the slave labor would cost effectively increase their productive value.
Speer also repented, and I believe very convincingly. If Weisenthal thought his remorse was sincere enough, I would say that's a good sign of a man who had reckoned with himself and came out better for it.Tutto nel mondo è burla

Holocaust denial? All I remember posting about the holocaust was a question as to where were all the bodies and what not? And I also asked why was 6 million the generally accepted figure when historians usually more accurately say 4-6 million... shouldnt 5 million be the generally accepted figure then?
anyway...
Aside from being a nazi, Albert Speer was a pretty intelligent man as far as I have learned. He was a very capable architect, rally-organizer, administrator, and minister of armaments. really intelligent man who was only in his 30's and 40's during the third reich.
it's a shame that he spent most of his life in prison. a brilliant man.

MtG:
Originally, you questioned whether anyone was actually killed, since you'd never seen photos or evidence of bodies. After someone posted numerous photos of railroad cars with bodies stacked like cordwood, etc., you then got into nit-picking about the numbers, like killing only 4 million would be a substantial improvement over killing 6. Over 3 million Soviet POW's died in Gernman captivity, and the vast majority of those were non-Jews, so they of course aren't counted in the holocaust number. Just more millions of corpses. But let's not quibble over a few million dead.

there was hardly a Nuremburg for all the slavers and slave traders in America who brutalized 10 million blacks...
anyways, Speer, although you might not fit in with the religious right, you seem to be able to recite their party-line from heart. And your stereotyping of leftists and liberals puts you in a league with Rush and Sean Hannity. Go for it.To us, it is the BEAST.
