I really can't think of anything else but honesty on my words. If I was a liar it would be much easier to keep denying that I had attacked you than say that I made a mistake, but rather you believe it or not it doesn't make any difference to me.

You didn't have a choice but to admit. Everyones computers would have told them that the Welsh have declared war on the Incas. It is obvious who started the war simply since the news of war began AFTER your turn.

Maybe you have the same situation as I and Keygen in TeamSpirit?

I plan a move, the unit can't do that due to the zoc of one of Keygens units. I forget all about this, my unit get - well I think it gets - a sleeping move.

Later, Keygen moved his unit to the exact place (a ruin) where I wanted my unit to go. By moving his unit, Keygen "released" my units move as his units no longer blocked the way of my unit. My unit attacked - this was not planned at all, but the attack was real. Fraser did the same to me in DC earlier (but more about this later - when we are eliminated in that game ).

"I did had the choice to decline everything. Some would believe me. It would be the easiest and less painful way to follow. By admiting that I attacked you by mistake I risked my reliability much more. It is far more difficult to convice the others that I attacked by mistake than that you attacked me. Why don't you tell all of us why did you attacked the Spanish? Maybe this would resolve some of the misunderstanding here. What are you trying to hide from the rest of us?

I don't know, maybe you didn't get advantage from it or maybe you did. I had twice sent you an email about it from turn 98 but I had got an undeliverable message. Maybe you did had received it or maybe not. Anyway the third email seems that it had reached you and that was four turns ago.
