  • Turn 206 to Swissy.

Blackice: In the danish language, the word "sober" has not nessesary anything to do with drinking. It could also be something like reliable, polite ect.

So "sober" here means, that the times you have been subbing me, you had played very close to what I would have done myself, sometimes I wondered if a sub actually had been playing my turn.

    Now serious again:

Greatings to the great leader of America,

I had expected the great island just west of roman homeland to be unpopulated. Now it looks like the americans have settled a colony there.

I hope we can live together in peace, just as we do at home.

"Chairman Swissy has noted the great damage to the world eco-structure being done by the three great powers of this world. That is why he has commanded the building of recycling plants in all Jamaican cities. Also, the knowledge of how to build these facilities has been given to the other two great polluters, may they also be as wise as Chairman Swissy in using this knowledge."

I noticed that, it was easy to sub for you I did not have to change a thing very similar styles of play.

2 new roman cities founded on the new island. 1 north and 1 south of the american colony .

I do note, that the americans have not given any reply on my earlier announcement about the future of this island - but hape to see, that everything seems to be normal with no changes in attitude or military readiness.

In the main conference room of the Peoples' Government Building.

" I fear for the state of this planet," Chairman Swissy addressed the assmbled leaders of The Jamaican Peoples' Republic, "the pollution is geting out of hand." Many of the more progressive types nodded in agreement. "I have word that almost all the civilizations of this planet have instituted communistic governments, which means the pollution form the increased production will only get worse." The news of the government changes alarmed the more militant memebers. "The Russians seem not to heed the warnings we have put out, and continue to do the most damage."

The Minister of Defense interjected, " We could mount a campaign to disrupt their trade. A fleet of sumarines is ready to sail, just give the word and they are on their way"

" Such a campaign would be difficult at best to maintain, given the distance involved," responded the Chaiman.

"What about taking action in the courts against the worse offending cities," questioned the Minister of Justice.

"I want you to look into that, once our scientist have developed the new space transport, we will be able to easily infiltrate our leagal forces into offending areas," the Chairman answered. " Now the main reason I have called you here," the Chairman press a buton on the table.

The lights dimmed as a tall man entered the room and stood at the far end of the conference table. He was backlit, making it impossible to make out any more than a outline of the figure.

                      He spoke.

"Gentleman, I bring news of a growing discontent among the people. While we enjoy the premire place as the leading nation of this world, the people begin to chafe under the work load. No longer is enough to live in a workers paradise. It may be the time to consider a change if philosphy."

"And what would you recommend Comrade Samual?" asked the Chairman.

"It may be best to develope a nationalism movement. We can exploit the natural hatered for the English, many still think we should have crushed them instead of making peace. Public denouncement of the Russians for their high pollution will go along way in getting support form the academics. My computer models have shown markedly increased research output. While industry will not be able to maintain production levels as high as they are now, the popullus will be overall much more satisfied with everything."

"So when should we implement this?' asked the Chairman.

"We should wait for our next major project to complete."

"Then it will be so. Thank you Comrade Samual. Now gentleman we have some real work to do..."

                      • Chinese/Roman allaince may make a statement later concerning the matters being discussed bye jamaican heads of state.

As for the official chinese stance on this. I can say that any, pro-enviroment whackos that attempt to disrupt production will be detained. Jamacian, or otherwise.

The Peoples Republic of China will not be forced too sign or agree to anything.

                        • Out of turn.

As the other part of the chinese/roman pact, I might consider the jamaican's call for support.

I have recent knowledge of the destructive power, that a Eden Project might have. Not as a victim but more as a reporter, looking at a great city, that suddenly is no more.

I do also know the power, that eco-rangers have.

                          I do respect those powers.
