          Turn 203 to Swissy.

I have noted this amazing interest, my neighbors have shown the roman knowledge of massproduction.

Until now, I have turned all proposals down - and I do expect my ally will do the same.

That does not mean, that this is a final dessicion - only that I want the offers in exchange a little higher, maybe it could include a little gold too.

          Let's see.

          Senator Maximus.

We stand bye our Roman neighbors and the remarks the BM was quoted as saying. If this is the position of the Roman leader. Then it is the position of the Chinese aswell. On another note we thank BM for the kind gifts. When he comes to visit shangai this season. There will be a large celebration in his honor

Romans we appreciate it if you would not park right on top of our fisheries. It scares the fish away. If you would like we could escort your tireme with our battleship till you reach the safety of Roman waters.

I also see a settler moving into our border area, as you see we have a diplomat stationed near your settler. We welcome him to settle in the area, to establish a new Roman city that will flourish and grow. We offer no resistance to this action, may you appreciate our gesture of friendleness and show towards us friendship and peace.

                          Out of turn.

YOUR land??? Ohhh, I (nearly ) can't remeber how my map is looking like. I thought I was well within roman soil with (both) my settlers.

Well I appriciate your kindness anyway.

By the way - remembering Maestro's call for a moderator. This game has all potential to be a real great game - if only the speed goes up a little. Should "we" call for a moderator?

                            Turn 204 to Swissy.

Small message to my amecian neighbor: I think it still could be discussed, if the disputed area belonged to the americans - but as we have no real disputes I shall leave this matter. As for the tririme, I friendly ask for free passage for my trireme. It is old and have to return to it's home, where it would end it's days as firewood for the citizens.

I honor and thanks my chinese ally for the gift. It is of great value for the roman people.

Special message to my dear russian leader: Once more, I have to turn your proposals down. Do not take it personal, but why exchange an attractive knowledge for something, that your ally already had given you for free? You shall be welcome to make a new proposal. As you probably had expected, I have also turned down your goldgift, as it would not be polite to receive a gift without having anything to give back.

Turn 204 went to NukeBoy on the 7th. I don't always get a chance to post, as sometimes I get the turn right before I leave for work.
