For future research, Philosophy is well worth considering. Pacifism could be immensely useful.

I suspect we'd research Civil Service faster than AC, unless they can lightbulb it. Their economy will be a bit creaky from the conquests, it'll pick back up with currency of course. But we should be the ones to research CS if they can't lightbulb it.

We can bank gold for a few turns upon finishing CoL, so we can certainly stand to defer a decision on who researches CS until AC gets the GP.

We feel that the proposal to delay research a little is a good one,
especially because the delay isn't likely to be long (we're getting
the GP at the end of next turn).

We also think that if you want to found a religion with discovering
Philosophy, you should start research as soon as possible, so no other civilization gets there first.

In case you take on research of Civil Service, we will most likely be
researching Compass.

First of all, we want to thank you for sending us Code Of Laws. We
also congratulate you with the founding of Confucianism.

The general announcement from Vox in the public forum is not a lie.
When we woke up in 175BC we noticed Vox has indeed declared war on AC.
We have not seen nor spoken any Vox military or diplomat for
centuries. Do you have any idea what might have triggered their
decision ?

We currently have some forces healing around the ruins of what used to
be Bananas splitsville. We are not in danger at all and are pretty
sure we can hold that position against Vox. Our border guards have
been informed of the new situation and will look out for any refugees,
spies or intruders from the south.
