Teams on the other continent, take note...

GS is attacking Vox in the South, AC is attacking Banana in the North. Their combined goal is to be a two civ contenient (high production, low research). A three civ or four civ continent would do much better against a GS/AC one. Now is the time to join your forces.

They don't think we'll still give them ironworking after this message do they ?

    • I guess not.

      • We should really send a message to Vox telling them we don't accept such a messages at all.

We intended our army to march south as fast as possible to help them and we were still planning to give them ironworking.

We have not yet had any talks with GS about cooperation, or a 2-civ continent. We have certainly not received such messages from GS lately. In fact, relations between AC and GS have been seriously down. If anything, Donegeal's message might help bringing GS and AC closer.

        • And I think we should simply get closer with GS and forget about Vox.
They're dead meat anyway imo, we can't realistically manage to go down south and save them, plus if we do, they'll be so seriously down, they wont be able to take with GS on their own until past midgame, so they will just drain our resources protecting and helping them.

              • If you'll look at the resent score graphs their yield collections have started to decline slightly, I think GS is camping their good tiles again in preparation for an assault. I don't think they have much time left.

                    • If anything this is good for us, it will legitimize our march southward and maybe just maybe we can capture one of their cities.

                      • They basically play right into our hands.
We were thinking about attacking them, which would be viewed as another reputation lowering action for us, but now they dowed themselves, so we don't need to worry about consequences..
Also gives us rightful reason to intervene there in the south.

                        • i hope we can finish them off, and i hope we could do that in less then 15 turns

would be fairly impressive to end wars after 15 turns, twice ...

                          • Were still looking at a 12+ turn walk to get there, Its still far more likley GS will finish the job before we arive. Their expantion city has a chance of still being their when we arrive but the capitol will certainly be taken.

I don't think it's a coincidence that their declaration of war helps us and ultimately hurts GS.

                              • You suspect a last ditch effort on Vox's part to engineer a situation that will sour our relations with GS? Thats rather far fetched in my opinion, I just see pent-up frustration over the way they have been passed over as an unviable partner in favor of alliance with Storm. Some message to GS stating our position on this phoney war Vox has decalared on us may be in order. Should we promise them not to interfere? Should be say were interested in 'assisting'?
