All I can say is, if this DG requires a dual install of me, I know I'm not playing turns. Or being active much if I cannot even open the save.

Otherwise, any start time is fine with me.

A dual install for me means copying the directory and then pointing a shortcut to the new directory. Then install the patch over the default.

It's very easy.

What can I say?I know nothing of computers.I didn't even understand what the patch is for.
But I made my mind about the expansion Warlords:I will buy it,but not before six months after the release of the patch.

The patch is for making the game better, that should be obvious.

Easy, yes. I'm just not sure I'm going to be able to swing the space required.

That is, unless you can talk my wife into deleting some of her songs and/or family photos off the hard drive.

Everyday I come to this forum and look to see if maybe...just maybe...this elusive patch has been seen.

The leaders of the teams met and decide to wait for the patch...that is well and good. But, how long ago was that? Was their an expectation then that we would still be waiting for the patch in April?

I would like a patched game as much as anyone, but at this point there is no game. We sit...and we wait...and we get a rumour of the patch...and we sit...and we wait...and we get another rumour...and we sit...and we wait....

Perhaps the team leaders could again assemble and discuss at what point our patience for the patch dissolves? If it is to be another 30 days, do we wait?...60?...90?...

This could turn into the longest demogame that never was.

How are everyone's team forums? Still as active as they were a month ago? 2 months ago? 3 months ago?

Great teams have been assembled here to play Civ...How long before players loose interest and move on to a different game?

I say ... WAIT.

If I knew it would take this long for the patch to be released, we should have started in december. However, at that time, nobody expected this. Starting now doesn't bring any benefits though.
