Operation Mehmed II successful! We now control Constantinople.
sunrise will have the preliminary turn report up shortly. Here is the battle log I took down during the fighting. We lost 8 suicide cats, but only two real units, both maces. No Oromos died, and 5 of them won battles to gain XP for another promotion!

We get music next turn at 90% slider, funded by the plunder from Constantinople. That's a higher slider than before when the cities were set to research but better than we expected last turn.
Turn not finished yet - still units, workers, settler and missionary to move - sunrise will probably do this later.
Think we should still move our 2 workers and knights to the staging tile.
Please let's not forget to move an archer towards Frozen Clams.
Jerusalem is out of revolt - probably Mustapha should go onto the cows this turn to improve them next turn.
I named our new worker Yojojo - my son's favourite Waybuloo character

Couple thoughts looking at the save:
- Double checked and confirmed that the trade last turn was PAL sending Chemistry to Imperio for Military Tradition.
- I'll echo sooooo that we should send an Archer in Cape Town on the long trek to Frozen Clams starting this turn.
- Very slight change from sooooo: let's send the Mustapha/Erik pair to the cows tile NE of Jerusalem (instead of just Mustapha). Together, they can road that tile next turn, and get us a Jerusalem/Constantinople road connection.
- I grabbed the oasis tile for Jericho, so it can work it while Constantinople is in resistance.
Otherwise, I'll get out of the way and let sunrise finish the moves for this turn, then comment afterwards.

Military Action Report:
*Our Oromo warriors boarded our ships next to Cape Town, so avoid Imperio intelligence gathering.
*Our four knights and four horse archers reached their staging tile for Operation Backstab. Since our ships require 2 turns to hit Imperio we won't need to make workers stand on the staging tile, but we absolutely DO need to make sure we always keep two workers that can make it TO the staging tile in one turn, so we can initiate the Bloodbath on short notice.
*FYI - Imperio is fielding 36 units in their stack. RB currently has 34 in ours. Not bad considering our 10 units of losses this turn, the separate 2-move stack, the separate naval stack, the two other cities we captured, the battle versus Templars on defensive terrain, and the early battles versus Templar and Imperio units in neutral territory and at Pink Dot. Considering Imperio have been in as many wars as us and have lost about 4 units over the entire game I think we've done a pretty nice job Just think how scary Imperio would have been had they been producing units at the same rate as us and not suffering any losses...

Yep, I echo the "nice work" comments.
Templars are stupid. There is no way to irrigate that rice in their territory without farming over one of the two villages, both of which are a few turns away from becoming towns.
Slight mistake at Jerusalem: The worker spent a turn plantationing the jungle-sugar tile but that tile already had 2 turns of chopping into it. It will complete the plantation quicker if we finish the chop and then start a plantation (and also the intermediate 3/0/1 tile is useful to work)
