  • I suggest to move the spy back into our territory. We have found the IMperio stack. That was the objective. They were trying to hide it from us. If our spy is discovered in the next turns, they will know, that we have seen their plan and will change it accordingly. I'd rather have them thinking, that we are not using spies at all and that we have no idea about their stack.
Use the spy on Templars lands to get a line of sight into Constantinople for example.

Furthermore, the recently settled cities really increased the "number of cities" maintenance. We are running up to 6gpt maintenance in some cities. A couple of courthouse would do wonders.

Our galley has reached the end of its journey next turn by encountering PAL borders. I suggest to gift it to Banana if they want or move it back (a long way) to start pillaging some seafood in the channel.

    • @M_H - I agree with your conclusions about moving the spy back into our land. In fact, I propose we move it back and forth every other turn and halve the risk of it being caught. But I think you're reading too much into what Imperio is planning.

They have engineering, so placing their units on that hill is NOT hiding them from us. It isn't a remotely clever place to put the units if they really want us to believe they're elsewhere. So I don't think they're hiding at all, just biding their time and hoping they along with their Templar puppets can out -grow, -expand, and -tech us.

      • Templars appear to have made their moves this turn. They moved the horse archer from their crossbow/axe/horse archer hill back into Jericho, and moved a Quecha onto the jungle hill tile adjacent their borders on the coast east of Something Fishy.

I changed Pink Dot from a mace to a "horse archer" (maces aren't needed now that the Imperio stack is located). I would also like to send both our chariots south next turn to intercept and kill the Quecha.

        • With that Quecha, Templars have only now an idea where Something Fishy is located. Until last turn our borders in the south were hidden from their view afaik.

          • Aw shoot. I was looking at the culture situation around Jericho, drawing strategic layer lines.
Accidentally (some weird mouse drag and scroll wheel maneuver) I moved one of our HAs into the forest 1N of the neutral Templars hill.

As this basically qualifies not only as a mishap but also as a not-allowed move, I guess we should ask for a reload?

Sorry, sorry, but I guess it was bound to happen eventually with me accessing the game so often.

            • Best to do it quickly in the public thread.

              • To late, I've already dealt with it.
You just wasted six ... no, seven ... seconds of your life reading this sentence.

                • Now this is interesting.
Templars got Music gifted to them from PAL.

                  • Maybe a trade for a map? They'll have to do it again when the turn is reloaded.

I think we should move our scout through Imperio lands to the desert near constantinople. She would only have to spend 2 more turns inside Mayan lands and also we get a look at Mutal's garrison. Going via our own lands takes about 7 turns to hit the same tile.

                    • The game still hasn't been reloaded. How about we just move the horse archer back next turn?

                      • Possible, but that would technically be a double move in war time. That's why I mentioned it.

                        • Is it worth mentioning on the public boards? If templars don't object, then it could save a lot of time.

                          • My only concern is that Templars will attack the unit, I'd be happy to agree to them just letting us move the unit away.

                            • But templars are passed their 18 hours so cannot attack the unit.
