Didn't we agree that the UUs are available to all players and they have all had the "initiate Golden Age" flag removed?
If so, the civ you choose is simply window dressing and you just need to choose the two traits you want.
Industrious and Religious for me and would like to choose the Germans as my civ style.
QUESTIONS:
1) Did we make the change in regards to UUs?
2) Did we alter the Wonders so they affect all cities and are no longer continental effects?
3) Are there any changes we made at all besides making the map?

There still is the question of starting techs. Since we excluded commercial and expansionist (both completely useless in the later game, but provide a tech needed in the map making race), we had agreed to allow starting techs again.Originally posted by GhengisFarb

I would prefer not to start behind CerberusIV as I already do in another game and it gets confusing when you recieve the save for multiple games from teh same person.Originally posted by Sir Ralph
Sheik has the map ready. I would suggest to sort all players in a east-to-west order, to get an optimal flow. If the time zones entered by you are correct, that would be:
GMT+2 - Eli
GMT+2 - ormuzd
GMT+1 - Sir Ralph
GMT+1 - ADG
GMT+0 - CerberusIV
GMT-6 - GhengisFarb
I haven't found timezone order to drastically speed up PBEM myself as often people don't get around to playing the turn immediately upon recieving it.

Timezones work quite well actually, at least from my experience.
Cerberus can simply name files differently or use different mail subjects and that's it.
I get two mails per day from Dissident, never had a problem."Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master" - Commissioner Pravin Lal.
