ok, newest insider news: the next patch will be released in march, as soon as jesse has the translations.
the current beta patch (for english versions) is available and it's allowed to be passed on... just not publicly because it's likely people would get all mixed up.

please vote on following issues as soon as possible. i'm hoping to start the game for sunday/monday...
i'll set up the game as soon as a majority has been reached on all points.
A: continents or pangea? (random not an option, because archipelagio could suck bigtime)
B: 60%, 70%, or 80% water or "random"
i guess the other stuff is ok. anyone who wants a restart should say so as soon as possible. post a screenshot of your starting location and a reason, why you want to restart (eg. tundra/jungle only, 20 tile island, AI touching your borders, etc).
whoever requests a restart will get the same civ as before... so restarting because you don't like the traits isn't ok.
speaking about civs:
chrisius and paddy: what civs are you going to take? or will you join in on random civs?
edit: removed cerberusIV... shall we replace him with another human or an AI?

Id go with Continents and Byzantines, but if you decide on pangea then Id take Celts or Rome if thats okay with others.
Continenets and medium water sounds fine
Dont really care about restarts, if youre out youre out, and its good to have a challenge some times. Dont mind others restarting if they feel it is absolutely necessary
