    I'd be interested.

Pangaea is easiest for making contact with other civs but curraghs probably make continents viable in C3C.

Best not to have any AI's - too easy to beat up and the player who starts next to an AI usually has an advantage.

Monarch difficulty is reasonable in terms of tech rate and unhappy citizens.

4 players on a small map or 6 on a standard.
Never give an AI an even break.

                  first post updated

please post what your ideal daily playing times are so we can try and get in 1 round per day (having australia, europe and north america won't allow us more than 1 turn).

                  thanks

oh, and if i'm doing something wrong: don't hesitate to tell me so.. i'm new to PBEM

                    GMT

Usually play around 1800 to 2200

                    Random civ

Give it another day or two to see if we can get another couple of players, if not then go on a small map with the 4 of us.

If we can keep up one turn a day that is pretty good. Most of my PBEM's aren't managing that!

I normally play at 0900-1300 GMT during the week, 2100-2400 and 1000-1400 GMT on the weekends.

looks good until now (see first post).
if smellymummy is an evening player, we've got a good chance to get this daily thing going.

CerberusIV, i can imagine the 1 turn/day pace will be quite difficult, but as long as we try, it's fine. it's just bad if we do the wrong succession and take a week for each turn...
