Good news is that I did better by still retaining possesion of Paris after 1 turn!

The bad news though is that histroically Strasbourg did not fall to the Germans until the peace treaty was signed. (The Marietot line was bypassed entirely)

Well, replaying the turn now, after I found the way to get half of continental France in turn 1, is hardly an option, is it?

You can take comfort in the fact, that it cost many German soldiers the highest price.

So Spain is still neutral and open to both the US counterfeiting the DotuchMark and releasing them there and the Germans counterfeiting the Dollar and releasing them there?

Ok, the turn has been passed. I just got home from work.

I am sure that things will progress smoothly and much more quickly once we get this first turn hashed out.

Turn played and sent on to Godking.

There were no aggressive acts by Italy but we are saddened to report that AI minor powers cowardly attacked Italian forces and destroyed two inf. We will be dealing with the matter.

Against Germany
OK, did a bit of bombing of roads near the german / french border. Lost 1 bomber and destroyed 1 german fighter in the process.

Found (crashed into) and sunk 3 subs. 2 in the atlantic, 1 in the English sea. No promotions. The one was with a cruiser, the others were with Destroysers IIRC.

Killed one Cruiser near the neatherlands with a BB. No promotions.

These actions caused Italy and Spain to declair war on me. Spain I sent back a proposed peace treaty, as I see no nead to kill them, unless they wish to die. Italy has already declaired their intentions to side with the evil germans, and will be punished.

Against Italy

Bombed and missed one destroyer off the SW of italy using a fighter.
Naval bombardment in egypt. Suggest you surender now.




Now, all I have to do is hope that the Soviet Socialist Republic of adamsaka can cut that lone german oil in slovakia.......

I will accept the offer of peace from the Allies as this was an unintentional mistake. I thought that I had accepted an agreement with Germany which protected me if I was attacked by the Allies, not which obligated me to ally with Germany if she was attacked by the Allies.
