Too bad you didn't start a nice little War of Pillaging The Germans (TM). But I see, the land is just too good to leave it unclaimed by going to war. Still, I hope some of our border cities will finally make the neighbours agry. Early GA anyone?

The reign of McMeadows I
1000 BC McMeadows stepped to the throne. In the spirit of his predecessor Beta he intended to reign peacefully.
Word cane out that the yet to be met Maya had built the Oracle in Chichén Itza.
Some years later Germanicum was founded in honour of our respected neighboors. To proclaim that they were really happy this way the border between our nations shifted a bit in our advance is probably a bit overdone.
900 BC Russia demanded we shared our knowledge on literature or else we would have to pay the consequences. We accepted the challenge after we had checked the distance of Russia towards our nation. So war it was. The foreign ministry got to work on the double and in that same year embassies in Paris and Berlin were erected. Both capitals were working on the Pyramids and eager to show their progression. Berlin was due in 430 BC, Paris sometime AD. The enthusiasm of the German and French leaders was sky high and they were both happy to take the punches from Russia.
Our people were very thankfull for the progression Carthage was making and in 875 and 800 BC they volunteered to help build a palace.
Meanwhile our lone wandering warrior took down a barb camp. A Russian warrior who had just met the French which caused him injuries was helped out of its misery at the benefit of a promotion for our warrior to become vet.
The Chinese, French and some other nation all payed 20(+) gold for philosophy. Poverty is abundant among our neighboors, they couldn't pay more.
730 BC Carthage started building the Great Library. It's up to our predecessors to decide which wonder will in the end be erected in our capital.
Ferro Forresti was founded in which way we secured an iron source.
The Americans were kindly asked to make a contribution to our treasure and they gracefully donated 13 gold. The Russians added an extra 25 gold to end the war, in order to concentrate on their other enemies. How afwul it must be to have walked into a war opposing 3 enemies.
570 BC 32 gold for horseback from French. Better to have some money than to have them trade it with one of the AI's
In the same year The first Dynastie of McMeadae came to an end. They reigned peacefully. Despotism nonetheless has had its best time. Republic is due in 530 BC.

Ferro Grainus
I need to apologise for this situation. I saw this beautifull spot and had a settler available. Took some time to get there. Soon the Americans took a spot really close, but hey I thought, the iron and grain are still available. 1 turn before I settled the Chinese did as well and that pissed me off. Settled anyway and in a normal game I would have mede it my personal vendetta to have that city grow in culture before the other 2 would.don't worry about things you have no influence on...
