When I planted it, I planned to go Warrior, Worker, other things. The second citizen wouldn't do much anyway, so making a Worker seems more useful to me.
But then again, King Modo died a while ago, so who would listen to him.Seriously. Kung freaking fu.

Great reign King McM. btw - what did you die of?Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.

Yes, the French must go.
I see you have met China. Where did they come from?

I will have to get a serious look at this. Germans seem a good target since they are so close and are at war with Russia. I will have to put many cities into Mercenaries/Horsemen since our (effective) military is only 8 mercenaries, most of which are needed for defence. Will war brake out swiftly during my reign, or will preparations stall me?I changed my signature

emperor McMeadows I stepped down at the end of his reign. Despotism was out of time and he had allready have an assembly of wise men think out a different form of government: Republic, which is deadlined for 530 BC. To prepare for the changes, McMeadows I has allready voluntary made way. He's now fishing at his settlement by the sea.don't worry about things you have no influence on...

Gameis Carthage had only daughters so his surname disappeared from society. His Great-Grandson, Prince Cubium was given Gameis as his surname when was proclaimed king.
All went well, Gameis prepared for war on the Germans. The Russians made peace with the French but continued fighting the germans and King Gameis decided to revolt to republic. When war preparations were nearly complete, something very unplanned happened.
The Battles of Cirta
Growing French swordsman population on the border worried Cubium Gameis, so he began rushing Numidian mercenaries in Cirta. Sure enough, the french entered Carthage borders after the first mercenary was complete. The French declared war and attacked with two swordsmen. The first was defeated with only one HP loss, the Numidians also gained combat experience. The other swordsman attacked and took the Numidian down another notch, but he was quickly defeated and the mighty Numidian was promoted to elite status. two more came soon, horsemen ambushed them on many sides but they stayed strong, though extremely tired. The elite Numidian defeated one, a horseman from Leptis Magna defeated the other. French archers approached, the elite Numidian made quick work of the infidel, while a horseman was promoted to elite with the defeat of the other.
Causualties- 1 Numidian, 3 horses
4 french swords, 2 French archers
The Capture of Orleans
Orleans was captured in quick retaliation. The weak French buckled under the might of the horsemen of the Carthagians. In defence of orlean another elite Numidian came to be, after which he chased down a french swordsman.
Causualties- 2 french spears, in retreat 2 french archers and 1 french sword.
*We would have iron at this point but earlier I pillaged a road by Orleans. Oops.*
The Seige of Paris, or the Battle for the Mausoleum.
A catapult had been bombarding paris for awhile with no success, but with reinforcments coming the battalion outside of paris was prepared to ride to victory. The battalion was made of 6 horsemen, 3 numidians, and the catapult of course.
2 elite Numidians were generated, 3 horses, and one numidian lost, 3 or four spearman killed, and Paris captured. 1 worker and a settler surrendered themselves.
Production started shifting in Carthage, from the war to the economy.
The Great Library has been completed, right before Cubium Gameis's horrible death by a stray stone from a French child, a horseman quickly picked up the devilish youth and took him to Carthage where he was stoned to death. He was then taken back to the battlefront, and launched into Tours with a note "The great son of Carthage has been avenged"
Our military-13 horses
13 numidians
1 catapult
I would recommend more workers, we only have 9. Our 6 warriors can be upgraded soon with our new iron to supplement us.
If we get into a different war Germany would be a prime target, they have Pyramids in Berlin, which is a spittings distance from Germanicium.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The causualties may not be right, but... we still won didn't we?
Sent to Paddy, screens to come soon.
Will the next in line continue the war on the French, or will he make peace with those infidels?I changed my signature
The concept allready seemed to be interesting to me, as I bumped the thread, but I must admit I'm enjoying this game more then I expected.
No risk of too many "one more turns" is an advantage too. Furthermore the game moves on while I'm sleeping. We'll be done shortly and I'm allready in for a next game. Good armtwist job you did here Paddy. But the best part is reading how the other kings are doing. Each with his own style and a nice story to read.
Paddy II good luck..don't worry about things you have no influence on...
Dear Jennifer,
I so so hope that this letter finds you well and having fun in the lands of the Americans. Your presence is sorly missed in our lives. I hope that you will hurry back into our lives,
I sit here on the Grand Beach, just to the North East of Leptis Magna. Ahh the hours we sat here, ahh the hours you sat here while I dived, ahh the fun we gad
Well today is a strange day. As you know, for the past 17 months I have trained for the Grand Beach Pearl Diving Competition, and here today I am surrounded by several thousand of our fellow country men and women as we cheer on the divers in the quest for a great pearl. Yes you have read correctly, I sit here watching the competitors as they swim out on to the reef and then dive into the sacred shoals.
It is not that I have been injured dear Jennifer, nor have I been removed for a bad dive, struth mate they did not even let me dive.
You see last month my distant Cousin King Cubium Gameis secummed to old age and passed onto the halls of our elders.
Who was to know, the cheeky sod left me as his hier, thus as King, and a newly Crowned King, I am not to partake in such adventurous pursuits as chase the sacred shoals.
All that training we all went through as children just may come in handing in the coming time.
In the past month I have sat through copious meetings with an amazing assortment of envoys, group leaders, guild masters and travelling salesmen
Ahh you would so remeber the wonders and issues of court.
Be well my friend, and never forget that this is your home...
oh, and we all miss you
Paddy II
