@Godking: Amen to that! Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy's plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy's forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy's army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities.--Sun Tzu

Jshler should have the save
He should also be returning from a week away sometime today - that being Saturday in the good ol' US of A
as posted in the absences thread
so as in all things to do with war....
you will need lots of patience, as there are long periods of waiting, preparing and more waiting, then suddenly very brief moments of action, that will live with you forever

I have the game and will try to get to it tonight. I had a flood of games in my inbox. 11/09/04Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy's plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy's forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy's army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities.--Sun Tzu

That's OK, Rcoutme... we have not been exactly speed champs in turning around turns for you.The greatest delight for man is to inflict defeat on his enemies, to drive them before him, to see those dear to them with their faces bathed in tears, to bestride their horses, to crush in his arms their daughters and wives.

April, 1942
We sank an American destroyer that had attacked our grand fleet.
We captured an unmanned Ningsia from the Chinese this turn. One of our bombers was shot down near Kunming. Other bombers did great damage to the Chinese infrastructure.
On the Dutch front we attacked the infantry that was near Menado and captured the artillery it was on. We also sent the Elite SNLF Marines to attack Tenate. Led by their Great General Yam****o, they wiped out the infantry unit defending the city (although there is still a flak unit there) and were promoted to the highest honor in Japanese code. Yama****o will be brought back to Japan to form an elite army group (or something).
We used the captured Dutch artillery to shell a Commonwealth machinegun unit next to Donggala. We also destroyed a bomber group in Singapore with bombers (although we lost a bomber group to AA fire). We used artillery to redline most of the units outside of Rangoon and attacked the light tank and killed it.Thus the highest form of generalship is to balk the enemy's plans; the next best is to prevent the junction of the enemy's forces; the next in order is to attack the enemy's army in the field; and the worst policy of all is to besiege walled cities.--Sun Tzu
