    After turn 180 and DyP turn sent.

    Apparently the Army at Stockholm has more than Archers in it as when attacked by an Elite Horsmen it defeated the Horsemen without the Horsemen hvaing the chance to retreat. Very unfortunate as his single companion Horsemen is gravely wounded and protecting the 4 catapults that unsuccessfully bombarded the city before the Horsemen assault failed.

    We are afraif that the catapults will most likely become Viking property until liberated by the forces sailing Noth from the central Russian cities. Hopefully they arrive in time or the Aussie Midieval Infantry and Knights will appear riding hard charging down from the central Mountains of the Nordic lands. We pray for the Aussies arrival.

    The Texans Rangers are the only moving unit scouting the country side right now.

      Aussies crush next viking city and head south to the new viking capital.

      Still no sign of land any where, navy cruising along coast.

          Champions are cool early like attack 2 warriors with extra hitpoints so they do not die too easily.

          Alot of the units have modified number of hitpoints to reflect tougher units. Cool addition to the game makes you think more.

            yeah lots of choices, been playing a single player game and its hard to know what to build in citys and what to research

              Yeah my first game of this mas modded into a 362x362 map but bythe time i got to the 1000AD it would take upto 30min a turn or more to process ouch.

              Not going with maps that big.

              The choices are ppretty cool and do make more sense when you think about them though. Alot of effort and thought apperantly went into this one.

                  I will play now and be back in one second. You know since we are noth on-line and even though I have AOL we should at least attempt a MP direct ip game if we can do it off of game spy.

                  Let you think about that and I will play my turns. OK.

                  If i didn't send them already cannot remember but will find out quickly and be right back. ok.

                      After turn 181 sent along with DyP

                      The Russinas raise into a battle cry and set the catapults to launch their missiles into Stavenger and are astonded that they yet again survived another Viking counter-attack. After lauching the assault the Aussie knights rode over the mountains to finish the work of the bombarbing cataputs. Finally the Nordic lands might see peace under the leadership of the Russian and Aussie flags.

                      Discoverd Gunpowder and now researching Printing Press and will have that in 10 turns. so we need to swap so after education the Russians canresearch Banking to get to Democracy after going through Navigation.

                        Viking emissary arrives in Aussie camp waving white flag and pleads for mercy, being a benevolent society, the message is sent back to Aussie HQ and agreement is reached. Peace is guaranteed provided the Vikings maintain only the one city . Extermination is halted awaiting there behaviour.

                        Aussie scientists are sacked due to lack of research.

                        Aussie Navy gives up looking for new lands , appears our galleys are not capable of finding new worlds. Awaiting research into better ships.

                          Champion moves to hut only to discover the hut is empty. never had that happen to me so early in a game before, things definatly not looking good.

                            After turn 182 sent.

                            The catapults pull back from the assault on Stavenger as the defending Horsemen need to heal before continuing the assault when other Russian forces arrive in the Nordiclands.

                            10 turns to Leonardo's Workshop around the same amount of time to link to the iron supplies either in the Nordic mountains or the Siberian islands in the frozen tundra and mountains to the southwest.

                            3 Turns to the Sistine Chapel this should put most cities into a we love the Czar celebration. Plans are being made now by expectant merchants to stock-up their party supplies and the liquor and wine vendors are producing non-stop for the coming continuing reveling by the elated and consequently very productive Russian peoples.

                            9 Turns to Printing Press allowing the news of the growing empires expansions and history to be printed into books. These books cheaply created and made available to the common man eliminate the learning from only the scrolls restricted to the priests and elite currently. Surely this will make the common man have more voice in society.

                              Aussies send troops in to monitor the last remaining bastion of Vikings.
