There was one other release, but I don't remember on what day the 3 units were revealed.
it was on a wednesday (12/20 First Civ III units revealed)

    My theory does not work!

It was actually based on the pattern in which Activision released information about CTP2.

Still, friday is the best bet.

Well, since it's now Friday and no update - maybe it will be updated on Monday.

I'm getting tired of waiting, I want a site update, They will probably not update the site until they release the game

I have not given up hope, yet. Bear in mind that the time difference between Europe and the US Pacific coast is about 10 hours, so it is only morning there.

I hope not to be dissapointed.

Sadly, the site updates like mine.... Regular updates for 1 - 2 weeks, then nothing for 2 months while I'm busy with other work....

I have a suggestion to you folks: Several months ago, as you all know, the Civ III section on Apolyton was updated with giant intervals of time. Once I discovered it, I used to check the site every day, but got frustrated and decided to resist checking for a long time, and then come back with many new stuff. I suggest we forget the official website for a while.

Easier said than done, comrade. My money's on the 19th - this Monday.

A fact, spinning alone through infospace. Without help, it could be lost forever, because only THIS can turn it into a News.

I suppose, the last update was also on the 19th. However, I agree with badger - Monday evening is the last time I am checking the Firaxis website. From then on I will only ever check on Mondays and Fridays.

Tomorrow will be exactly 1 month from the last update. So, I sure hope that we get an update tomorrow.

'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

I predict a 40% chance that new information will be released on either a Monday or Friday. This is based on my deducing the Firaxis staff doesn't work weekends.

But remember folks ... Monday is an American Federal Holiday (President's Day), so the earliest would be on Tuesday
