      - Hold the other three Lego workers in reserve for joining to Hope in two turns.

          1120ad Turn Played

Sort of per orders. The turn started out with us losing dyes since the game didn't give Lego the opportunity to send them last turn. Only Eternity ended up in revolt though since I went through the cities. The others will lose a little food, but can handle it for the one turn until Lego can get dyes back to us. Hopefully doing the dyes for gpt trick will work and we won't have to worry about that anymore. When the time comes to renew the luxuries from other teams I may just ask for them a turn in advance so we don't have to go through the process of losing our production for a little bit.

On the upgrade front, I don't know what the heck I was thinking regarding upgrades when I told Vondrack how many we still had to do. I was thinking they were all pikes, when only a few pikes were left to upgrade. The rest were caravels, which for some reason I was thinking only cost 20 gold to upgrade, not 120. So the upshot is that, thanks to the extra 520 gold that Lego sent, all of our military is now upgraded with the exception of Lord Beta's Palace Guard and the four caravels. None of those need to be upgraded for that price until/unless we stage an intercontinental war.

We also now have Mass Production, and three of our destroyer builds have been switched to battleships.

            1130ad Turn Orders

            - If Lego sends dyes, rearrange the tiles of all the size 12 cities back to normal (using the map on the first post of this thread)
            - Lux Invicta finishes destroyer. Start artillery.
            - Move V.C.S. Fearless north for eventual deployment as a picket.
            - Move V.C.S. Intrepid north and then east for eventual deployment as a picket.
            - New destroyer named V.C.S. Millertown and moves 6 and fortifies (to block the entrance to the lagoon).
            - Play with all the artillery and infantry to prevent enemy landing zones along the east and west of the island (at least until someon gets marines).
            - Send WM-accepted to Lego.

              nice job roth

Once we have battleships perhaps we can just station a few dozen outside of our enemies' capitals and destroy their buildings and units? (well, to 1hp anyways )

A few dozen? If what Vondrack is saying is true, the game will be over before we even finish a dozen.

Heh, read through the last few pages of the Lego thread.

                        Vondrack is Lego's team leader.

hrm within 50 turns? that's be impressive ... and probably not in our favor ><

Or is time against us? I seem to think it's in our favor to go on longer -- but maybe i'm wrong ...

But Lego has been a good friend, and we have come a LOOOOOOOOOOOng way

Heh, there is still no way we can win. All we're hoping to do is get into a position to be able to help Lego win the game since they were the ones that saved us and continue to support us with gold, techs, and workers. If we can get some digs into the other teams then all the better.

Right now though, we're at least succeeding on our first goal since we've now researched and/or given Lego 6 techs with several more to go.
