    Not all of those destroyers will end up destroyers. I want a few battleships in there too. Cruisers can't be built in PTW.

      1090ad Turn Orders

      - 2 workers added to Renewal. Check happiness and change one WF to entertainer if necessary.
      - 2 workers added to Memory. Check happiness and change one WF to entertainer if necessary.
      - 2 workers added to Lux Invicta.
      - 2 workers added to Phoenix
      - 3 workers added to Irony
      - 5 workers added to Eternity
      - 5 workers added to Panama Vox
      - There should be one worker left over as he is completing the final touch on the very last railroad in the land.
      - Send WM-accepted to Lego
      - Check slider and possibly ramp down to save more money if possible on research. Don't go below 1 turn research to finish research though.
      - If Lego sends workers, add them to Phoenix and Lux Invicta and check the happiness of each.
      - If Lego sends the upgrade gold, upgrade one of the pikemen to an infantry
      - Check through all the cities compared to my maps in the first post. Move around various WF to maximize the cities as much as possible. At the very least, the WF on a hill in NV should move to a mountain so that Lux Invicta can have the hill back. And move one of the hills in Eternity so that Phoenix can have it.

        Rhothaerill, I haven't been here much in the past couple of months but I continue to be ASTOUNDED at the progress you have made. EXCELLENT job my friend.

            Thanks con. It's pretty much the only way our civ will grow quickly enough to make any difference and still maintain a decent shield count.

              Yup - it has been a marvel to watch. And has made what could be a potentially very dreary period in Voxian history quite interesting - for us builder types anyway.

                Turn played per orders. The worker joining went well and we're now up to 402 beakers at 100% science with a deficit of 78 gold. Plus we'll pick up 212 gold next turn thanks to the beakers we had already accrued to espionage and only needing one turn to get it.

                For the time being Memory will be fluctuating between losing some food and then will be set to gain it back. I don't want to set the lux slider for just a few of the cities, nor do I want to ask for one of our precious luxuries from ND or GS at the moment. Better to string them all out as long as we can for now.

                Lego sent us a worker and the upgrade gold. I informed them of our new tech situation.

                Here is our empire currently. Our first destroyer comes next turn.

                  1100ad Turn Orders

                  - Phoenix produces destroyer. Start destroyer (will eventually be a battleship).
                  - Hope grows to size 5. WF to fish, hill, mined grass, irrigated grass and coast.
                  - VW#22 moves to Lux Invicta and joins. Place one citizen on taxman for now.
                  - Move slider to 100% science.
                  - If Lego sends the upgrade gold, upgrade one of the pikemen to an infantry
                  - If Lego sends a worker, add it to Eternity and place one citizen on taxman.
                  - Move V.C.S. Immortal to V.C.S. Intrepid location, move V.C.S. Intrepid to Hope.
                  - New destroyer to be named V.C.S. The Voice and moves to one tile to the west of Panama Vox (so that no one can see it in port).

                  Once we get our cities to size 12 then we can use the slider to 10% luxuries or use up a luxury item (haven't decided which yet).

                      1110ad Turn Orders

                      - Rename destroyer to V.C.S. The Voice and move it to join V.C.S. Fearless. Move V.C.S. Fearless back to Eternity to upgrade.
                      - Move V.C.S. Intrepid back to Hope to upgrade.
                      - If GS sends the luxury item, check all size 11 cities and put the citizens back to working tiles. If GS doesn't send the luxury item, bug them.
                      - If Lego sends one worker, add to Renewal. Any more add to Lux Invicta and Phoenix in that order.
                      - Send 1gpt-unaccepted to Lego for dyes to get that rolling.


                      By the way, since only the first one has been produced yet, I was planning on naming our first few destroyers after the cities in the old homeland (Beta-by-the-sea, Wittlich City, etc.) Any objections?

                      Second, I want to disband three of the four Immortals. They are unnecessary as their best upgrade is worse than any unit we will face. I'll keep one as the palace guard of The One though. Any objections?

                        And OK on the Immortals. Just save the Elite. btw - what do they upgrade to. Guerrillas? Oram I confusing ptw and C3c. Or maybe I am confusing Vox and Monkey.

                          Guerillas are the upgrade. In PTW they are only 6/6 which is not going to do much against infantry and tanks. Meanwhile they're just sucking gold from us.

                            Per orders. Gathering Storm sent the luxury item. Lego sent gold and 4 workers that were added to Renewal, Lux Invicta, Phoenix and Eternity.

                            The 3 Immortals were disbanded, with the elite being renamed Lord Beta's Palace Guard.
