  • CH, with the present pic? It wasn't cropped... it still showed our gold situation!

    • okay, I edited the pic, to crop gold information and build times from it. If MZ didn't open his PMs right away, he shouldn't have seen the other one. It only has been a coupld of minutes

        • You should really turn on the colored civ rings for units so its easier to tell what units belong to who...

          • At this moment, all visible units are ours... but it might be a good idea for future screenshots.

                Hi MZ,

Did you get the PM about Rubber Expiry and possible Computers deal? Obviously it's a bit important Text is below in case you didn't see it.

                Cheers,

                -Cort

PS - Triffic satire on the cluster bombs - reminiscent of '99 and the RTS bombing

There is a bit of a problem with the diplo bug and Rubber supply.

Turn 242 is the 20th turn of Rubber and on 243 it expires. Presumably GS-GoW would have to to do the faux war thing to fix the bug and re-establish the supply.

The luxuries are one-for-one, I think, (most recent on T131) so we don't need use the diplo screen to renew them but the rubber will be gone for D-Day and the chaining of esential Marines.

The other subject is Computers, and whether GoW wishes to buy this tech off GS.

Ah yes, I did get it, we will send you rubber next turn (D-Day-1 for us, D-Day for you).

As for computers, what is the asking price for it?

                  -MZ

P.S. last turn aun unlucky bout of pollution messed up one of our city's builds (a transport) which would have allowed 8 more marines if we wanted to hit Jackson. We only have 34 available in the main stack because of that. There's actually a longer story behind that but we hope to deceive Lego into thinking Jackson will be the main target when in fact it will be the much-lesser defended Dye Fields.

                      Hi MZ,

Price of Computers : How about 20 turns of rubber plus 25% research cost = 1560 gold? We sent you the tech unnaccepted this turn if that looks ok for you.

Then, how about you research either Rocketry or Fission while we go for Miniaturisation, then we trade those.

                      Regards,

                      -Cort

This turn's info, first of all a situation report on the east:

Some interesting stuff: this turn Jackson was only defended by ONE infantry, possibly other weaker units but our bomber hit one and reduced it to 2/4 and it stayed visible during the rest of the bombardments. Jackson had eight infantry 2 turns ago when ND spied on them for us.

We don't know if this means Lego is placing all their bets on stopping your invasion, especially considering there are more likely targets on that side. Our fleet is still unspotted as far as we know and we killled off an Ironclad which could have seen it if it moved north. Lego has two BBs in Jackson but the threat of our bombers have kept them in port.

I'm sure it will be pushing our luck to expect Jackson to be similarly undefended next turn but who knows, we asked ND to spy for us both cities so we should have good intel on which of the two cities to strike. 8 extra marines will be available on D-Day+1 in the hopefully unlikely event that both cities are superdefended.

Oh well, good luck on your beaches, this will be a turn to remember.

Forgot to mention the tech stuff, we are interested in computers but we're a bit short on cash (or rather, we need it for any surprises), would it be possible to pay it in installments?

As per other research options, we are doing Fission right now, we can trade it for whatever it is you decide on next.

                            Hi MZ,

Would you be able to conclude the payment in 3 turns? We're doing Miniaturisation next, which we can trade for Fission.

... regarding the tech, we'll hold that thought for one more turn as this is d-day and we want to see how it all goes before we commit our cash now, other than that, I think we'll agree next turn.
