So please try to ratify this luxury trade... we at ND already have done it with a poll. You have rejected the NAP and if you dont can ratify the luxury trade then i dont know what i can tell my people :-/
Our harbor will be finished in about 12 turns so we can trade for a long time.
I suggest that you make the next ingame offer of luxury as soon as you have made a decision.

I'm sending a message announcing that we've "ratified" the trade agreement and that we're going to send the luxury this turn, assuming that noone objects.
This issue was discussed a lot, and was recently raised again a few days ago when ND actually sent spices in-game and triggered a discussion. Anyone who wanted to complain or object had plenty of time to do it then, and I'd rather not start a poll for something which we seem to have a concensus on for the sake of fast diplomacy.

Due to recent events, Gathering Storm has had to make some very difficult decisions lately.

We are sad to have come to this, but we are afraid that cooperation in the matter of your war against RP between our two fine nations does not seem possible.

We believe that our minimal claims for strategic land on Bob were legitimate, but since our concerns were ignored by your representatives, we have decided to switch sides in this conflict. We can give you back what you payed Spain for it. Let us remain reasonable. The citys on Borconia will be poisoned for you in the form of corruption.

The strategical insurrance for GS against an Invasion from us is not necessary. We are ready to give you a MPP in case GoW should try something stupid.

You have a big continent all for you alone. I understand it if you tell us you want to conquer Borconia and want to start an invasion anyway. O.K. then we can't do anything to stop you but this war against RP has nothing to do with you. Please stay out of it.

I must say that it was a great relive to see that you did not start an open confrontation in the public forum. So I belive that we can find a gentlemans agreement.

So I don't understand why you are not responding to my PM to you. I'm sure that you are so bussy you just din'T notice it.

You would never try to stopp talking because you are planning a massiv attack that shall hit us by surprise. That is not the way a proud and strong Nation like GS would act, I'm sure.

A peaceful overture

Greetings Darekill,

First off, congratulations on your successes at the Forest of Doom... mothers and chicken trainers throughout Stormia mourn as we speak.

Second, keep writing poems when the spirit takes you! We apologize at the resultant furor; your intent and respect are understood. Sir Ralph is just an out-of-control uncultured barbarian...

As you know, we have been pursuing a certain diplomatic and military path. Along with the terrible loss of our Knights, but, more importantly, considering the long-term course of the game, we tire of these Bobian wars. And, as you are surely concerned, we feel that this conflict overly benefits a different party: Lego.

We would be interested in a dialogue, or even a tri-alogue, about a resolution. We believe that each of three of us - ND, GoW, and GS - have currency to mutually offer one another.

As has been noted in the public forum, GS has been working on becoming a better diplomatic player... but we have not engaged in any material discussion with you. Perhaps now could be a beginning?

Response from Darekill - arrived on Saturday, but I haven't had chance to read it until just now. Not unexpected.

Hello Vulture,

This is the official aproved response from ND to you overture.

It is with deep regret that I have to tell you, that peace is not an option right now.

However it lightens my heart, that peace is still possible and it could be done quickly.

The terms for this solution are however the same as they were before the war. GS must leave Borconia. No troops, no citys no vessels in the cultural circumference of ND cities. Gs signs a contract wich guarantees that Borconia is property of GoW and ND only and that no troops of GS shall enter Borconian teritorry again unless GoW or ND authorize them to do so. These are the terms. I know they are hard but it is what we want.

We would also like to add that we will secure that RP has no future on Borconia anymore, RP can have an asylum an Stormia or Legoland, no problem with that but any RP unit or city on Borconia is doomed.
