If we end up with Egypt can we PLEASE not be yellow colored??? PLEASE? I hate that yellow color, something cool like red or blue....

I just got so used to seeing yellow everywhere on the C3DG that I'd like a little variety....

I was thinking about that too! Very strange, I suppose we just go with what works, best for us eh?

On a side note I was playing as the Carthaginians and was forced into a VERY early Golden Age. So early that unfortunately it didn't do me a whole lot of good.... the Iroquois and Egyptians also have earlier Golden Ages, but significantly later in the ancient era than at the beginning like my game with the Carthaginians did....

who is Carthage now? the Builders or the Roleplay team?

Me thinks NYE should have waited just a couple of more days to do this vote. He pretty much convinced all the 'older' players to go Iroquois, but not the newer ones

          close race!!! , very close

(I just just started playing an Egypt game, to get used to them again, thinking it was all over )

I don't think I would be persuaded that easily, when I can't test it myself... which is also why nearly all of us go for the old civs. I'm sure the others are good too, but if you don't know them other then on paper, how could you choose them?

If this poll would be postponed a little, there is a chance however that extreme strat civs like the Aztecs or Zulu would get picked. The more I think on it, the better I like those Impis, those will rock in MP. Definately my first choice once I'll get PTW.

True, I even never considered the Zulu's.
But the last few days, reading some very solid comments on them, I'm beginning to change my view on them too.

The reason is of course that few would play them in SP, but this makes them so attractive: there are some very special strategies you can use that no-one has seen yet. Their just not effective against AI, but against humans... Just thinking of the possibilities makes my desire for PTW grow more

Oh, I'm going to find it for sure, if real life doesn't catch up with me, I'm going to spend quite a bit of time on it too. If I had known I would join a PTW team, I had the thing ordered in the States, but it's too late for that.

                        2. Aztecs
                        3. Chinese

                          Expansionists!!

                          3pts: Iroquois
                          2pts: Americans
1pt: Aztecs (no more expansionists in the list)

That gives a very small lead too exp., if I'm not mistaken.

With only Theseus and Poobie to go.

Is it only my guess that Poobie deliberately held off on the poll to 'make his vote count'?

It's not really as expected for me: I thought there were going to be more Iroquois votes, but most of the Iroquois people would take Egypt as their 2nd civ... thus meaning that in general Egypt would win.

Whoever wins, it will be just fine, this game is gonna rock
