  • Civ Choice Final: Poll by Paws and Points

Please post your top 3 choices for Civ. Assign each choice a preference. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice. Each 1st choice pick awards the civ with 3 points, 2nd choice awards 2 points, and 3rd choice awards 1 point.

We will total the points after a day or two and use the point totals to determine in which order we choose civs.

These 6 finalist civs have been mentioned as favourable by at least 2 or 3 members of the team. No harm to include them. If you wish to vote strategically, you should keep in mind that Egypt, Iroquois and Persia were mentioned by more members than the other civs.

    The finalists are:
    America
    Aztecs
    China
    Egypt
    Iroquois
    Persia

We have to remember that our first choice is not automatically ours. Another team may claim it and we may not win the rock, paper, scissors contest. Therefore, our second choice (and third) can be equally important to our first.

have at 'er. I will wait for a bit to post my choices.

Although I admit it would be cool to fight with the Aztecs

Ah... it doesn't matter to me that much really. the Iroquois will be fine as well

          Iroquois - 3
          Egyptians - 2
          Aztecs - 1

Gah, I would have given both Iroquois and Egyptians 2.5 points if it was possible, they are really equally leading on my list, but heck, no need to come up with half points in this poll.

Difficult to make up my mind, but this is what I'm going for.
I started a game as Egypt on Monarch last night and kicked some ass with Industrious workers and War Chariots in the Ancient Age, that swung it for me.
If I'm posting here then Counterglow must be down.

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

Iroquois=3 (what's life without a little risk, and a possible good (offensive)counter for the celts)
Egypt=2 (well, there good to cats, so... )
China=1 (best civ in the game for me, but maybe not for this one )

Strange, that all the others ( except for maybe roleplay=Greeks?) are going for new civs, and we don't even have one in the play-offs
