The marines by Quanto, can they be picked up with a transport and moved into NI? They would not have any moves left after that, but could be used for rushes later or free up a few units for other things?

No, not unless we only ship 3 transports to Quanto. Getting back requires 2 transports because of the chaining. I think.
We might have one problem with getting to Stanwix. Lego still has a considerable patch of forest and jungle left near Dye fields. If jungle has been left, I doubt it is RRed, killing all our movement.
For all the strategic miracles we have seen, they surely suck at improving their land... tiles not even improved yet, while clearly in the influence of cities. Cities spaced so that perfectly useable tiles go to waste... sigh. A mircomanager's nightmare!
Looking ahead, we also might want to consider RP. They are what, 4 turns away? It'd be good for them if they could somehow get their units into the fray. If sections of the west are wasteland there might be a spot for them if they can avoid the Lego Navy. I suspect that they will run into subs, though, if not the remaining BB.

Confirmed - forest can't be bombarded away in PTW.
Damn. I don't know how I got that idea, I was sure it was possible. Well, that means that GoW has to go around, using another settler, or that they have to use a cav to get there. Not a problem, only one less city they can reach.

I think the map-steal is looking attractive now. We don't know what other slow-downs (pillage/forest) Lego has put on likely routes between cities.
I don't think we're going to see any more planted slow downs, but I agree, stealing the map might be the best way. However, let's see what GoW says, as it would benefit their side of the battle more then it would ours. We will get to our cities without map as well.
I'm most interested in what they are going to say about us racing to Stanwix, after spying on them. After thinking a bit more on this, I'm getting more convinced about it. It's not certain we can get there, but if we can, and give our captured cities to them, they will have a choice of which cities to take. It could be even so that we could get to Legopolis (as we're more or less coming from the direction of their detour around the forest). If we get lucky, we might even be able to take Legopolis, and hold it!
