    • If we bring across some Settlers next turn to NI, they probably won't help us much. Lego is going to be rather low on cities, and there won't be any "interior" cities to leave poorly defended. Lego also won't know that we don't have any Settlers left, so would have to guard against the Settler extended Tanks regardless.

So I'm not sure the chain is too valuable. The extra 8 Tanks probably aren't too valuable either, but there is a slight possibility that they could be extremely valuable and make the difference between GoW getting through Ft Stanwix or not.

Lego has shown that they will defend targets amply. Perhaps they know something we don't about the state of GoW's stack. They may have gotten a good run of luck with Artillery and most of GoW's units are injured. I'd think that they have what they feel is enough to keep GoW from breaking through, and generally they've been very good at predicting what is necessary to do so.

      • okay, it's large, but otherwise it's not clear anymore. I've got the full version as well, but ask for it in an e-mail if you want that, it would unnecessairly clutter this thread.

        • Aeson, those settlers are not so important as tank-extenders. They are extremely important to claim some of the land we're currently razing...

          • Ok, so we can get to Legopolis with 4 Settlers and attack Ft Stanwix from there. Q6, Sand8, Farmer8, and Red Bricks8.

            • Some observations:

              - Pink (Ahhmyfoot) is unreachable in this turn. So is Camp David, or any of the cities to the East. GoW could reach those, though, if we create a path to them.
              - the rubber is in between Klorreepville, Legopolis and Red Bricks.
              - Red Bricks is another critical city, as it holds Sistine.
              - Karina gives us Oasis for free, so only 1 settler needed to get there.
              - At first glance, it doesn't look like we're going to get to Stanwix. But I'll study this more closely, to see if I don't miss something.

              • Rubber is 778 of Red Bricks, so we can pillage it with 2 2/6 or better Explorers (or even Tanks if we wanted).

                  • Going Q6, Sand8, Farmer8, and Red Bricks8 with our Settlers will mean we can take or raze:

                    Nou??amp
                    Karina
                    Sand
                    Fork
                    Oasis
                    Farmer
                    Red Bricks
                    Legopolis

                    Comment

                    • Couldnt we go Q6, then attack via Karina->Oasis, then settler @ Oasis8, Farmer8?

We would still get Karina, Nou, Sand, Oasis, Farmer, Red brick, Legopolis, Fork.

If we used a settler @ Karina3, then another one @ Karina 33, we could also capture logville, Camp davivd and Tiberium.

                      • Aeson, you're absolutely right. I somehow miscalculated, as it was the exact same route I was following.

                        So,
                        1. Q6,
                        2. Nou*amp
                        3. Karina
                        4. Sando
                        5. Oasis
                        6. Sand8
                        7. Farmerville
                        8. Forkmouth
                        9. Farmerville 8,
                        10. Red Bricks
                        11. Red Bricks 8
                        12. Legopolis.
                        13. attack on Stanwix.

                          • Together with Quanto, that is 9 cities.

I don't see another way of doing it, so we can't help GoW any more. But by giving all those cities to them, they should be able to take out the rest too. They can reach the most Southern cities, only leaving Lego Abilene, possibly Jackson, and possible Dye fields.

                            Wow. This is huge.
