Ah, but there is one critical point you have neglected to take into account in your assumption that the Euphoricans possess a sacred right to music......we are the Desolation Row, in itself a landmark piece of music for our age.

And it is in this fact that the strategic error in your attack upon our lands is revealed.....you see, we already have music in abundance, just a different sort of music. Ours is the music of protest, of standing up and being counted, of resistance, and of change. And it is from our music that we derive the courage to change the world. And change the world we shall..

Conversely, yours is the music of......Abba.

I think that speaks for itself

Argh!!! "No f*ucking aBBa!!" quote from 'Prissila, Queen of the Desert'

        [EDIT]
I don't think that abba is on the Euphorica playlists. They seem to be more towards the Balleds and general Rock & Roll (classic). Much better than aBBa, in any Century.

                McMeadows,

Nobody is pleased to find Persia or Mongolia as neighbors nor China for that matter. Yet you have managed to turn one into a trusted ally and other has turned out to be less agressive than you imagined.

Your first strike was a sound response at the time, but if it brands you as an unreasonable agressor and earns you the disfavor of of the rest of the world does it still serve your long term goals?

In light of recent developments it may be prudent to re-evalute your course of action and try to find a negotiated settlment.

Perserverance is an admirable trait that can be very useful in nogotiation, so is the ability to recognise an error and adapt to new circumstance. If the whisky, vodka, lager, cider drinks are causing blackouts; I commend you for getting back up again, but it may be time to start with the coffee drinks.

You do well on your blabla again 1889.

Euphorica hasn't hidden behind words and comes out straightfoward. In repeat mode: "We didn't, and with all what has been happening, don't want, DR as our closest neighboor."

The most lethal enemy is the one that just survived. There will probably have been some old farth who's mumbled that before, so you have your quote in return.

Being aggressive is not even an issue here. We're true to our word and alliances, with whomever as the game will progress. If you pinpoint our openess as aggressive, so be it. Whoever will be our ally will be treated like a brother.

if you wish to continue to fight, Euphorica, then by all means send us another stack to practice on.

Sorry 1889, your efforts are commendable but you miss the point, and the nature of Euphorica's total and absolutely unprovoked aggression.

A sound response to what? They were not responding to any threat at all - imagined perhaps, but not real.

That is the truth of the matter, and a sad indictment of the attitude of Euphorica in this game

Indeed.....as befits a loyal friend like your brother the Great Khan, who sends his powerful troops halfway across the world to do the dirty work in your own back yard while you take the opportunity to build your economy instead of fighting. That is indeed a great brother.

And skrobism, don't think I'm only pointing this finger at the Euphoricans

we know the reasons of Euphorica but I still don't see the benefits the other two expect

The Horde helps an ally - this is ok. They will probably get more room to grow in the direction of Euphorica.

And what do Babylon win? They can't get cities, no territory thus, no gold from Euphorica (because they don't have). Probably only techs and IMO DR were the most advanced civ so far.

So, Babylon and BOH - what do you expect fromthis war? What will you win for the wasted shields and time building those armies?
