I just wonder what forced the peaceful nation of Babylon to invade the people on the other side of the continent.

The only explanation was to get slaves and this makes me a little bit insecure about your intentions toward us. However, we expect a word from our Patriarch about our future actions. I can't do anything without his permission. Otherwise my head may be found separated from my body and this not quite desired

I am pretty sure that Micha was joking. I have not seen any DR slaves in Babylon. I can honestly say that Babylon does not wish to enslave Desolation Row.
