I may be interested, as it appears there is some space left. Let me talk to conmcb25, and I'll post a definite yes/no in the next day or so.
Cheers,

If you find him, give him a slap up the side of his head from his brother, and tell him to play his pbems.
scaeva - join in and simply commit con. In fact, start a team.
Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.
It is way too unbalancing and the implications to game mechanics are really very significant.....which essentially means that once a player gets a tech lead with AP on, he is a very difficult juggernaut to stop. That leads to ---> unfun for the other players very quickly.

Yep, that's in the Beta Rules.
But snoop, wouldn't it be fairer on Beta if the rules applied to all of us?

I'ld like to see teams firmed up a bit, then a manual poll with each team having one vote for the disputed options, personally.
It seems to work better that way in my experience.
As far as an Admin team member playing a save as a penalty, I will point out drawbacks on that idea:
If we were to PLAY the save, we would have knowledge of all the differing teams' actions, plans, locations, etc. Info not meant to be known by turnplayers. This could lead to making moves, even unconsciously, that benefit one team over another.
Just commenting. That issue should be voted on: Play or skip, and WHO would play: admin, or random willing player not otherwise involved...

Ah, I see now why I was asked to join a team. So they could play another time than night GMT.
Perhaps however, with many able to play at this time, it could be possible to knock through several teams within a few hours, as long as one from each team could be online at the appropriate times. This could greatly speed the early game too.
And no-one needs to ACCEPT me as an Admin. I'm just suggesting that particular hassle.
Ah well, what it said was simply that we can get 2 turns/day (equivalent of 12 hour turns) without too many different time zones - alternating GMT and EST teams for example would get the job done (still six-eight hours between them, and still 3 days between turns by the same team) ...
