    • I'm gonna campaign now.

People, if you give me your votes, I will do a great job for you, just as Trip has done, and I wont be gone in a month so I will guarantee more continuity. And seeing how close this vote is, lets make it stay interesting.. vote for Ninot

      • I'm not to sure, but doesn't the person have to have alot more than the other people before he wins, or they have to poll again? or are we just doing it 1 poll wins?

        • at this stage, i think it can be agreed that if either of us wins by a single vote.. we dont wanna stretch this out too much, so we should end it there.

          • Majority vote wins...... does not matter whether it is by 160 or 1, majority is majority. Just like either you old enough to buy alcohol or you aren´t.

            • Had to check the constitution. Majority wins.
It isn't set up like some of the other things such as a 51% is needed. Because with the number of votes (over 100) one percent is more than just 1 vote.

Question for each candidate - the judiciary.
I would like to be one of the judges, thus so far I have been keeping rather quiet about the discussion. So far I think it is working out well. But as I am interested, and the person who wins this election does the appointments, I think these Q's are relevent.

              The questions I have are:
              1) Who would you nominate (if you have anyone in mind)
              2) Why
              3) would you stagger the nominations (ie 1 per week) so that they wouldn't all be up for reappointment at once
              4) what are your thoughts on this

              Thanks Trip and Ninot

                1) I dont have anyone immeadiately in mind. I think that if I did , i would be much too biased to even nominate anyone. I would like to keep a completely open mind about such topics, so i may do a better job of making up my mind later on
                2) thats why!
3)i would do this for nothing more than a better sence of fluidity. It would be difficult if they all had to campaign or what not at the same time, and thus, not get their jobs done
                4) Judiciary system is needed, and would be great.

                • oh, it's so close again!!!

it's weird, for a while my main concern was that Judges not get too dependent on ministers, esp. the Prez, but now it looks like it might be the other way around! Presidential candidates hoping to buy votes from the long list of people who want to be Judges! What a reversal!

                    • Ninot;
Your bias is an intigral part of why people are voting for you. So if you feel that you cannot nominate people, what do you intend to do? Perhaps I am misreading, and you are only saying that you haven't had time to think about it. Please clarify. Thanks.

                      • Captain -
I already voted prior to the question post. So trying to by my vote wouldn't do them any good.

However, as I do work for bananas, any additional help wouldn't hurt.

                        • I think that we should change the 51% in everything to "majority". I don't think we ever imagined there being more than 100 voters. This is a record for both Demo Games.

                          • I hope everybody that participates in this vote will stick around and participate in the rest of the game. Since we are 10-15 turns from starting the fun stuff.

                              • dont you find it off that every other vote has only 70-80 votes, and the VP has 90 and the president has 114? why wouldnt those people vote in other elections? just because they'e not as close?
