Huts can give you any thing, at any time. I dont beieve there is any way to control or predict them. Of course any moron, 1 or 2 turns from monarchy or republic wont open a hut til he gets that option or if in jepordy of missing an Oedo year.
If you by pass huts near by you, and I get 50 or 100 gold or a city, or an archer for disband, I have 2 citys on the board using the settler factory and you have already lost the game most of the time as you wont over run my citys which is the only fear I have in using this tactic in a 2 move game. I get a couple horseman you a couple techs, game over on any setting..
So, if we play for money Ming, and play multiple games, PEASE dont open huts I need more money cause I am a greddy capitaist.

Oh... and what barb level do you play. Let me guess, you play village level because you are too afraid to play with random events that might hurt your one trick pony strategy Heaven forbid you should play raging hordes and be forced to defend yourself instead of just leaving your cities open while you do your predictable horse rush. I'm right aren't I. You play at all the wimp levels... don't you

Amazing how everything the apolytoners find challenging is provided by the AI. Raging hordes, deity, etc. Makes you wonder why they don't just play SP. Apparently seeing who can race to HG the fastest takes skill.
