Call To Power 2 Cradle 3+ mod in progress: https://apolyton.net/forum/other-games/call-to-power-2/ctp2-creation/9437883-making-cradle-3-fully-compatible-with-the-apolyton-edition
Guys, before going on with this game, i´d like to propose a ban on engineers.
You see, i came from the pre-ww1 history in civfanatics (like Darius) and we faced the following situation:
The capacity of engineers to build railroads + the use of cavalry, artillery + the unlimited movement; lead us to outstanding advances. For example: In one turn Russia conquered 3/4 of Germany, and in the following turn, 4/5 of France
After a couple of turns, Italy (using the same tactics) captured Moscow
Obviously, this is unrealistic. The first blow of any nation will be decisive.
So, i propose to cancel, eliminate the railway ability of the engineers.
Otherwise, this game will follow the same path...
OK for limiting the movement of railway, but a BIG NO to suppressing Engineers: Italy is not as developed as some other countries, and I simply don't want to play a country that is condemned to stay that way...
Russia will never agree to this. Limiting railroad movement perhaps, but I am not in favor of it. If I am alone in this matter I will consent to this alternative, however.

Sorry guys, you missunderstood me. By "ban on engineers" i tried to say a ban in their ability to build railways
Anyway, Civfan´s proposal about limiting the movement should be the best option
Again, I'd rather not, but I'm not gonna fight you all if you guys want to do it. It seems resonable enough, but I just have a little more "space" then you all for my cities.
League of Nations Resolution introduced -
Russians suggest banning artillery from war by international treaty. "These weapons are just too destructive to be used by civilized nations," said the head of the Duma.
I would support limited RR movement. But the only way you do that is eliminate RRs and make roads have a higher movement multiplier, so it'll screw up a lot. But I don't like RR blitzes either
Yeah, I was half-joking. I just think the railroads should stay as they are. We all play with same rules and when you look back on this thread next year and see the Andorans or the San Marinos drinking their wine and eating thier pasta in railcars in front of the Kremlin everybody will get a BIG laugh that I was one of the players who wanted to keeps the rails the way they are.
