Rather than slow down the game any further, I suggest Soundwave just take Russia and then there will be no problem with production or anything. I'll PM him.

Darius: I tried to do what you did ie make it into a hotseat, but when I went to enable cheat mode or the scenario editor, it wouldn't let me because the other civs are password protected.
Also, why would sending it to soundwave help? MJ had the same problem with Russia before.Georgi Nikolai Anzyakov, Commander Grand Northern Front, Red Front Democracy Game

What same problem? He couldn't manufacture?
Anyhow, I don't know how to explain the hotseat transfer in words, so I don't know what to do. It's moot anyhow. I can't exactly tape the process and send you the video (the file would be huge).

lol, ok I see. Well, tried and it might work if we all had the passwords removed...
Well, MJ had the same thing as you with production switching.Georgi Nikolai Anzyakov, Commander Grand Northern Front, Red Front Democracy Game

As I mentioned in the other thread, my computer has died after I installed Windows XP. This and real life problems (employment, mostly) are really limiting my internet access. I would appreciate it if MagyarCrusader could play my turn until I get back (probably in a week or so, hopefully not longer).

I thought we would want to sort this hotseat transfer/have someone take Russia issue out first. It's a simple fact that as long as Russia can't build anything, the game is already lost to the allies.

OK I say we have henrik remove the password. Because the way I was going to do it, make it a .scn file as Darius says requires I do that.Georgi Nikolai Anzyakov, Commander Grand Northern Front, Red Front Democracy Game

But you don't need the passwords out to do it. I did it and it said nothing about passwords.

That's really funny. Because I went to the scenario editor attmpted to enable it so I could activate cheat mode, and it said the other players are password protected and wouldn't let me do it. I tried the same with the cheat menu to no avail. So how did you do it Darius? It can't be that difficult or complicated.Georgi Nikolai Anzyakov, Commander Grand Northern Front, Red Front Democracy Game

Huh. I started making an array of screenshots when I found out what the difference is: for some reason my cheat mode was already activated when I conventionally loaded the game. My cheat mode is off when I'm doing a multiplayer turn, but when I load a .net conventionally the cheat menu is already on when I haven't even done anything.
Furthermore, just out of curiosity I attempted to shut it off, and it gave me this message, even though the menu is already active:
