    Re-elect Bush!

    • Blast! As I am posting everywhere, I'm going to be gone until at least the 20th, possibly even longer. It's a very long story. As it includes my not having access to the internet except for this 10-minute library sliver, I don't have time to arrange subs this time. Sorry, but I'll try to make the wait as short as possible.
      Unbelievable!

      • Thats fine. I'll be gone a few days next week anyway. Just don't make any great strategic success during your next turn, and we'll be cool.

        • Good news and badnews, it turns out I'll have my new college access to at least talk, but the bad news is still no turns.

          • All right, got done a bit early:

            - In a coincidence resembling the one which allowed our counteroffensive in Kaunas months ago, several divisions of Russian infantry happened to be in transit to Beograd when it was captured, so a counterattack was possible immediately. 4 Austrian units of unknown types were slaughtered in the fields outside Belgrade, and a further Austrian infantry division was destroyed in the city. It is expected that their offensive will be larger than what we saw, but this dent should at least buy us some time.

            - Russian infantry and cavalry have picked off a few stray German units.

            - All roads west of Lemburg have been cut, although fighting is expected to continue in the forests near the city.

            - The turmoil in Russia's industry is completely over, and our cities are finally pumping out approximately 5 units a month. Pending the completion of several Raw Materials depots, the number could rise to ten, half of Germany's aforementioned capacity of 20.

            • Battle of the North Sea Occurs! Pyrrhic Victory!

Earlier today, advance forces of the Royal Navy were intercepted by the Imperial High Seas Fleet of Germany and destroyed. However, this was communicated to the rest of the Fleet and they moved in for revenge. In the following battle, the Imperial High Seas Fleet was annihilated and is now trapped between the Royal Navy and the Dutch coast. Only unconditional surrender will be accepted for the remaining few ships.

                        • Metternich needs his pass to be removed first. And if I take over Germany, I'm probably gonna f* up in the midst of tryign to micromanage 2 massive empires. Although, that might be better than to keep changing German leadership.

Although I'm sure that as allies, you guys could care either way.
