The war continues to drag on, Confederate forces are consolidating their gains made last month, and skirmishing with federal forces. Also, some wins at sea, some losses at sea.

          In other news...
The race for the Presidency of the Confederacy is picking up steam, as ever-unpopular President Wilson's hand-picked Whig successor Gabriel Semmes struggles against challenger Rad-Lib Doroteo Arango. At this point the results of the race cannot be seen, which we are sure is much to the disappointment of President Wilson.

have you had any luck getting someone to play France, Jimmy? Also, have you gotten anything into position for our long-ago discussed planning?

                      Canadians Smashed

Troops of the US 5th Army have defeated a minor Canadian offencive in New Brunswick. Despite the ease of the victory, the Army General Staff is taking the Canadian threat seriously, and reinforcements have been sent to the Canadian border. In addition the US Navy's Great Lakes Squadron has moved to its forward bases.

                      Army takes to the Air!

The US Army has comissioned it's first aviation unit. The 1st Scouting Wing will be used to patrol the front line with Canada.

                      Pacific Railroad re-opened

Following recent military and industrial victories, the Pacific Railroad has been reopened. The reopening of the railroad has allowed President Roosevelt to make his first visit to California since the start of the Morman uprising. The president's return home was delayed due to congestion on the railroad caused by troop movements.
