I think these should be used as the general rules in each game, but if all the players in a specific game wish to make some other choices, that is OK. I suggest you stick with these unless your game has already started or unless a couple of them are objected to by everyone in a game:

Gifting cities/units/caravans - NO
Hitting wait so a plane doesn't crash - NO
Formal Strategic Alliances - NO
Continuing to build a wonder after its been built - OK
Tech stealing, Embassies, sabotage - OK

Adjusting city resources during a turn to maximize trade benefits - OK
Building an Airbase to increase production - NO

Hydey will be unavailable for the next 6 Sundays (aussie) I could do an hour and a half from our normal start time, so we need to arange something different.

Maybe start earlier ?

This is really the best spot for me so let's try and show a bit earlier and get 2-3 hours in before we lose Hydey...

Interesting times...

Markus still leads the pg/Wonders/cities/units but I'm doing OK in 2nd spot.
Makeo is keeping Markus busy with War in the 1000+AD era which has been quite interesting. Makeo launched a 'Cannon stack' in a beeline for Antium - Markus key Wonder city. He fell just short and didn't have the backup to follow through.
I was expecting Hydey to attack me more and so far he's only knocked out a diplo but I've stolen heaps of techs. I think Markus is attacking Hydey too??
I see now Cavebear's wisdom in no alliances but we are stuck with them until one civ goes under; then we should cancel alliances I reckon.
Good game, anything can happen and Hydey is catching up again.

Hydey attacks deity!

Well, he launched a massive attack on my western fortress but I held out, then he attacks by sea and knocks out two of my northern ports. He's got stacks of units so I got a big job in front of me!

His timing was good and unexpected......

I think Makeo lost 4 cities to Markus... after Markus had lost one big city to Makeo (since recaptured)... Does this mean Hydey is the only one NOT to lose a city???? Humph!

Diety is a incredably cheap player. Diety build a railroad system for hydy right through his land so he could attack me directly. I didn't have that many units left around because makeo had been attacking me all game, while hydy and diety where constantly building up units to sneak attack me later. I then retired because there is no way i am going to play with 3 openly allied players all attacking me at once. I also retired from the tourny as this wasn't what i signed up for.
