Dude, the Russian infantry has a def of 6.So does the Allied and German infantry. However Russian infantry costs 20 shields while the German cost 40.
Therefore when defending(the primal role of infantry in this scenario) they are the same.

And how may i ask have you killed 3-4 units in this PBEM. Unless they were cavalry or 3.7 guns in the open i seriously doubt it.

But Russians are going to attack the Balkans, so you could have put brown between the Ottomans and Russian in the balkans

    Ok! in a later map.

1.The russian flag is wrong.Where is the imperial eagle?
I think the austrian too.Didn't they have a white flag with the Hamsburg monasty emblem? i could be wrong about that though.

2.Greek and Rommanian infantry wear WW2 uniforms. Our army was issued with the french khaki uniforms and the french steel helmet. We had German rifles though.

3.How can you put a password in an already stated game?

4.The russian infantry is too cheap compared to its stats.
Since i doubt that anyone uses infantry for offensive purposes apart from me, the defence stat is what counts.
Either raise its cost to 30 or decrease its defence to 5.

5.I stress again the utter worthlessnes of the 3.7 guns. Unsuitable for both attack and defence.

Upon request by the foreign press the Ober Kommand has decided to release the German General staff's map.

Brown are the contested areas, what we might call "front". By lighter shades are the occupied territories of the respective nations.
Arrows show the respective offensive operations.

Italy, Russia, Serbia, Rommania, Greece,England and France are set against Germany, Austria and Turkey and Bulgaria.

Assesment of the strategic situation by the German General staff follows.

    Western front:
The German army continiously gains ground despite heavy looses.Paris is under siege. Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg occupied by German forces. Verdun and Le havre captured from the French.
A major breakthrough still denied though to the German army by the tenacious French.

The Channel:After the heavy defeat at Antwerpen the Kriegsmarine has counterattacked and fought the RN to a bloody draw.No major operations since january.

    Balkans:

The only territory still in Serbian hands is the area around Belgrade. Turks and Bulgars hold Montenegro and northern Macedonia, while Austrians are aproaching from Croatia.
A German expeditionary force has been sent to assist.

Greece, under threat of invasion by the French navy, has joined the Entente.

    Italy:

Following a treacherous attack by the Italian army the Austro-German forces responded by invading the Italian penisula. The attacking Italian forces were surounded and annihilated by the Austrians and now northern italy is under continious Zeppelin bombardment.

    Eastern front(Poland, Prussia):

Everywhere the Russians are on the offensive but without much success. The German army is preparing to counterattack.

    Silesia, Caucasus:

Russians have taken large chunks of territory from the Austrians and have held them against counterattacks. The Austrian heartland is threatened.
In the Caucasus the Turks are trying to check the Russian advance.

    Mediteranean:

Following the Italian declaration of war Turkish forces have seized Rhodes.
The French fleet has made its appearance by attacking the Turkish coastlines.

    Egypt:

Ottoman advance checked by the British.

    Africa:

No news have arrived from that front at this point. Rumour has it that German colonists routed British colonial forces, but remain as yet uncorfimed.

BTW what are we going to do with Jim's turn?
I mean a week is not such a long time to wait, we waited 5 days for Galvatron's turn and i know that Jim would prefer to play the turn himself.

But if people really would like to get this game along i'll play it.Depends really on what the rest of the players want i suppose.

Oh, and here is the map Mr Jmarks asked.Would you like a more zoomed in map?

    Ministry of war:

The war ship "Prince Eugene" continued its frenzied assault upon the RN sinking two more British ships; The dreadnaught "Duke of Malborau" and the old battleship "Oscar".
Both ships were operating with malfunctioning engines as they strived to reach London.

    Meanwhile near Paris.....

The first German shells fell into the city!Panic striken french citizens flooded the streets as their army's invincibility propaganda faded away!
The French 6th Colonial division defending the heights outside Paris and supported by MGs was annihilated by advancing German troops.
Paris is now officialy under siege.

    Foreign policy:

The goodwill of the Kaiser was aptly demonstrated as the 14th infantry division was transfered to Ottoman control to aid operations in the Balkans.Further aid was proposed but rejected by the Turks.
The Austrians too got their share of Germam generosity as the 8th lower Saxon division along with a military mission to instruct the new battlefield thoeries of mobile warfare reached Vienna on february the 19th.

The German ambasauder in Vienna, von Birhoff, however expressed the Kaiser's displeasure of the Ottoman-Austrian forces failure to capture Beligrad.
