          • I keep coming back every once in a while. I've tried SMAC (didn't like it) and CTPII (started to really get into it for a little bit), Civ I (so limited compared to Civ II) and various other games (online muds, Baulders Gate, WarCraft, Rage of Mages etc) but keep coming back to Civ II. Interest for me is up at the moment after reading a couple of the succession games, but with most of them being in MPE format, not sure how long my interest will last this time

            • Civ2 does seem to be a game you can put down for a while then suddenly take up again. I don't do this generally with games..............I play them for a bit then forget them.

              • Yes civ2 is the only game I have had consistently on my HDD for years - I play other games (Morrowind at the moment) but still return to Civ2

                        • Well keep a machine. You never know it might turn out to be a valuable antique. War's for instance is the first instance of a machine that crashes more often than it works.

I'm not sure. I'm not actually playing the game at the moment but I still have a disk somewhere and remember the game fondly.

                              • I can't believe this is still on page one. I guess that Civ II is still perceived as better than Civ III by many people.

                                Keep on Civin'
