Ah, but I did stop playing for noble causes - repainting, remodeling, repairs... but while at a used book/media shop, I stumbled upon it. In a moment of weakness, I loaded it up and clicked the icon. The rest can be guessed...

Also, la marquise has a new job, les petites demand more time... c'est la vie, as they say.

          OT (but not quite)

Family manager? Is that the name of your new game?

I don't play it any more, unfortunately - neither do I play Alpha Centauri. I just can't get myself interested in them at the moment, being in a SimCity period as I am.

We homeschool our kids, and my 10yo daughter was studying ancient history. Out came the CIV2, and soon she was SEEING the effects of technology advancement, diplomatic negotiation, trade, terrain improvement (wish we could build the Great Canal!), and military confrontation. She likes building her own maps, too. Now my 8yo son is getting tired of Roller Coaster Tycoon (another great game- he learned math, physics, economics, psychology...) and watching over his sister's shoulder...

Civ on - or should I say CIV2 RULES!

Hey - Elephant will we soon be seeing Elephant(2) and elephant(3)?

                  The SGs totally smashed

                    I choose the banana option.
I afraid I was a civ2 junkie. At my studies time I play civ for about 10 and more hours a day, but now I have only about 3 hours a week to keep my family content.

If Civ2 had a mod file that would show the borders, Id much rather play Civ2 than Civ3, the AI is better, and gameplay is much easier.

                          Borders? Borders in Civ II?

                          No way, mister!

I know I know, I'm just saying it would make an appealing mod to add one. Even though most users don't want it there, I'd like it there for reference purposes.

The ZoC act quite adequately in Civ2

The SGs (Sloshed Gits) now in their third (bottle)
