Happy to see you back MWHC!
...Though your post looks quite pessimistic to me:
1) If you have a look at the strategy forum, you will notice that there is still a lot of fundamental research on its way (phantom roads, commodities offered and demanded, ... thanks to samson, solo and some other reliable testers).
2) Democracy games and succession games seem to be much fun for many people.
3) Someone reminded me recently that all scenario records (Rome, WW2 with smaller civs, CiC and FW scenarios,...) are there to be beaten and I don't intend to let that gauntlet lying on the floor (planning to post a new 'crusades' record tomorrow ).
...just one more turnAux bords mystérieux du monde occidental

I keep coming back to Civ II, even if it isn't my staple diet anymore. Too many other games are vieing for my attention.
Civ III never quite caught my imagination in the way that civ II did.
And I still have 1.8 GB of downloaded civ II scenarios on my HD that I must play before I die.Hasdrubal's Home.

Each unit is 1 kb... roughly... 600 bytes to 800 bytes... and I have 500 units in one folder (and about 100 in its subfolders) then I have 7mb of units in my modpacks folder; then in the MPS/civ folder I have another 300 units...
500+100+300=900 units= 900 KB+7mb
7.9 mb
THEN I take the units in my 120 scenarios- each unit file is 1 kb big
9.2 mb
+ some scattered units 200
9.4 mb
---
...My estimate was wrong
Apologies. I will edit my thread- but I DO have 700 mb!-->Visit CGN!
