1200 AD In a huge upset the radical Hydey party is swept to power. President Hydey proclaimed that regular elections are for the weak and from now on parties shall rule for 200 years.
The people celebrated and orgies where held in every city, this was sure to boost population.

1210 Ad Temples, harbors and caravans built as leonardo the lion waved his magic wand to turn all catapults into cannon.
The coneheads discover metalurgy

1220 Ad Caravans for trading and Musketeers for defence, just in time as Barbarians land near Zohak and Japanese land near Dakyanus. Japanese demand we give them the secret of gunpowder, president Hydey laughs in there face , Japanese then beg for peace and it is granted.

1230 Ad Yet more caravans and musketeers

1240 Ad More caravans, musketeers and a library then leonardo declares "too many camels " and turned all caravans into freight.
The coneheads discover the corporation.
Barbarian attackers crushed by Zohak defenders

1250 Ad Just a temple built

1260 Ad Marketplace, harbor and colosseum built as president Hydey demands our defences be strenghthened and with that leonardo turns all musketeers into rifleman.
The coneheads discover conscription.

1270 Ad Just a freight built

1280 Ad President Hydey holds an orgy for all comers in the palace so nothing is built.

1290 Ad freight and Library built as the coneheads discover communism.

1300 Ad Just a freight built

1310 Ad Temples built as leonardo magics Knights and crusaders into dragoons.

Next Turn

Sorry it took me so long to take my turn. I was on vacation. I didn't take all 20 turns this time because I'm a bit tired. Anyway, here's what I did.

1410 - Amphibious warfare discovered. Scientists decide to explore the properties of the lodestone and see if it can be used to help ships navigate or stick grocery lists to refrigerators. We send out riflemen from Dakyanus to shoot the Japanese legions. Veii (Carthaginians) discovered. Sneak attack by Hannibal! Ooohhh, that *****!

1420 - Caravel destroyed trying to bombard barbarian musketeers (sorry).

1430 - Japanese walk into Southern Hydey (I bet that hurt). Doh! They learn the secret of gunpowder there. They raze the city. We learn the secrets of magnetism and decide to research chemistry in the hopes of making explosives to nail the Japanese and the Carthaginians. We sent troops to nail the nasties who destroyed South Hydey but the senate decided to sign a cease-fire against my wishes! There are Japanese settlers on the island and I fear they will build a city here.

1440 - Bactra completes Darwin's voyage and we discover the secrets of chemistry. I had originally planned to research explosives to destroy the enemy but I think I'll use it to get rid of the meddling senate instead. The Japanese build a colony near Behistun. We keep troops parked outside to annoy the Japanese. Our citizens get annoyed and revolt. The government collapses. Now is the time to kick ass. Our troops destroy the Japanese colony.

1460 - Still in revolt.

1480 - Peasant revolt near Hydey City.

1490 - Japanese charioteer approaches Behistun.

1500 - Meeting of the high council. They yell at me a lot and leave.

1505 - order restored and Persia becomes a democracy. japanese attack Herat but are defeated. Anatolia Darius decides it's a good time to retire.

1510 - But decides to stick around for the "We love the President Day!" because he accidently hit enter and went into the next turn.

1515ad - Markida Sodak is elected president. The people rejoice! Not everybody, tho. Some barbarous types attack Hydey City, but the newly trained troops capture the leader. He is released for a bribe, but only after a thorough cornholing in the jail.

The Celts land near Turing Tepe, offering peace. The president says no, but the cursed senate intervenes! The president's thick-necked goons spend the next month beating senators mercilessly.

The geniuses over at R&D report the discovery of electricity.

The president surveys the state of Persia. He's never seen so many size 8 and 12 cities without acqueducts and sewers in all his life! He orders a new public works program, and generations of Persians are forced to build these improvements across the nation.

1530 - After the first acqueducts and sewers are built, the population continues growing. The smart fellows at R&D establish a new division, Q. This group will focus on sneaky underhanded dealings with foreign governments. Spies begin training with 3mm pen guns.

1540 - A new crop of senators learns to equate underhanded cease-fires with throbbing pain. The president's goons get a raise.

1545 - R&D reports the invention of steel, a new alloy that will allow us to build cruisers. Alas, the mobs won't let them leave port anyway, so the prez tells the navy to take a number and wait in the lobby.

1550 - The United Nations is completed. All world leaders lick president Sodak's boot and offer peace. Suckers.

1560 - R&D discovers a way to refine petroleum into wonderfully flammable and explosive compounds. Cool! The president makes a molotov cocktail and burns down another sushi restaurant.

1575 - R&D reports a way to contain explosions, called combustion. The geniuses there want to study how to make self-propelled wagons or flying machines, but the prez fears this will spell the end of the colussus and leo's workshop. He decides to let his successor take the blame for that.

1580 - A gold freight delivered to Dakyanus taxes at 246 gold! On page two of the newspaper, it is reported that those dastardly Japanese have sneak attacked our riflemen with chariots. More sushi bars get torched.

1585 - R&D reports the discovery of machine tools. All cannon are upgraded to artillery. A wine freight is delivered to that seething pit of alcoholism, Rome. The Carthaginians cough up 320 gold, and say they want more! Vinyards across the nation begin stomping grapes.

1590 - The President Hydey Memorial Porn Library is opened in Hydey's Isle. Gems are delivered to Borazjan, taxmen shake down the merchants for 107 gold.

1595 - The fellows over at R&D have discovered a way to miniaturize things. The president orders some coastal cities to start building offshore platforms, as shield production really sucks in most cities.

1600 - The geniuses at R&D hit a new tech in 1 turn! They each get a fat raise and a cute, submissive "lab assistant" as a show of appreciation. They come up with theology in order to delay the bad PR for the president.

1610 - R&D eggheads define atomic theory. Few people really understand it, but hell, they tell us it's good. A freight of spice arrives in Kandahar, the taxmen squeeze merchants for 114 gold.

President Markida Sodak's term is up. There are 21.8 million Persians, and the GNP is now $901 million. A transport loaded with wine freights and one shifty-eyed "vintner" is on its way to the east, as those drunks in Carthage demand more. The payoff should be huge!

I have downloaded the game but I don't think I have enough time right now to play my full 20 turns. We are closing on a new house in less than 2 weeks and are quite busy packing and whatnot. So I must kindly pass on this round and will pick up again later. Sorry.

Again into the drudgery part of the game, lots of trade being built, but lack of fleets hampering the exchange...

Much R/D undertaken and eventually the Clever little people disciover a way of mocing vewhicle with engines and that sudenly interfers with ouf ability to use leo's amgic...

Sorry gouyts not much else to post , it reaaly is quite slow in this stage.. expecially with the number of islands

for the next 30 years we built many airports and factories and commenced building the greatest airforce in history, many many bombers and helicopters. I trust the mighty rulers who shall follow me will know what to do this mighty airforce.
