  • Proposal: POLITBURO Election Change

Currently we elect Politburo members every 12 game months, but it seems to me that it was too long a time, members have drifted off or had RL change the level of commitment they can give to the game. Therefore, I think it would be a good idea to cut the terms to every 6 months. Vote, discuss
    13
    6 Months for higher turnover!
    38.46%
    5
12 months to let comrades get a feel for the job!
    7.69%
    1
Send the Politburo a basket of 8 bananas
    53.85%
    7

    The poll is expired.

I think a six month turnover would encourage more competition, and give a little extra vitality to the game. Definitely a good idea

I voted for the bananas as I am a member of the Politburo and would really like a banana, but I think six months is best! It could involve more people if we have elections every now and then.

I voted for 12 months just to be the lone voice of dissent.

Either way is really fine with me.

Ha!!! As if you have to run to be elected If we say you are the General Secretary, you are the General Secretary. After all, we do have a totalitary regime here in the CCCP

I'm sure our General Secretary would never ignore the wishes of the workers. And if he theoretically does, I guess it will be interesting to see how a former General Secretary adapts to the Gulag again.
