Do you think it would be worth it to try to hold Kursk? It is home to strongpoints guarding several important crossings of the river Don.

I don´t know, I was going to start a thread asking what to do with out cities, moving some units from Serafimovich and Vorozneh I could hold the city at winter,
but holding kursk during the summer with so many nazis cities around... I don´t know if it is a good idea

If we keep the Nazi's west of the Don thru next summer we will recapture cities like Kursk (if they fall) late next summer or early winter '42-'43.

Should we load some more units to hold Kiev through the winter?

                      Well what do you suggest?

There was only three or four units (mostly Red Army) in Kursk the last time I checked.

Did we determine it was against the rules to build cities on those fortified positions and rehome them?

Build cities where the strongpoints are and rehome them?

Yes did we decide that was "cheating' or against the rules?

I know we said we couldn't do that with Fortifications but what about these Fortified Infantry?

Maybe its somewhere and has already been decided if so thats OK with me. Im just asking the question.

I believe these units you are talking about are Fortified Positions. The Russian equivalent of a "Hedgehog".

Fortifications to me are those big white blocks.

I believe the units along the Don are Fortified Positions and are different than Fortifications.

Two go to Kursk, one to Orel, one to Tula and two to Voroshilovgrad.

So my question stands, did we disallow building a city on top of these and rehoming them to the new city?
