  • Issue revisited: Mossad bribes

I was scanning the readme on the game to find out about Ben Gurion for the other thread, when I ran across this House Rule.

"- Do not incite revolts. OK! The Mossad unit rocks and you will be able to buy Egypt up by
para-shooting a few Mossad units near their cities and buying all of them. But it will ruin
the game, by making it too easy. Use the Mossad for more creative purposes, like sabotage and
    espionage. "

Well, shall we honor the House Rule or shall we bribe?

Seems like there's a use for bribery after all.

Perhaps the Harmony Party strategy ought to be implemented, as a realistic tactic, eh?

The tactic was never ruled out. However, your tactic is a violation of the scenario designer's House Rule, so we must decide if we will honor this rule, or give the Arabs some shekels.

How about we don't bribe cities, but we bribe units?

Let's limit ourselves to bribing one city per turn.

That's the best idea so far imho.

Have you play the scen, guys? I spend all my money pretty fast building defenses and buying units, so I don't know if we're going to have enough money to bribe any single city.

However, I'm against breaking house's rules, but that is upon the govt. We the military prefer to CONQUER

                Your dreams are too small.

Why should we have any limits on bribery?

Because it is the scenario designer's wish that bribing not occur.

So far, I am leading towards maybe allowing 1 per turn, if anything. It's not like we'll be excessively bribing this early on.

Because bribing is no honorable, only conquering and defending is honorable.

                          Honour?

Filling holes of mud with warm meat is honourable?

Using bombs to kill from a distance is honourable?

I wish I'd havea bomb to throw to the enemys! I'm now without any bomb, plane or tank to stop the Syrian and you want me, North Front Commander, to spend the money otherway that in equipment!!

Wait, bribery is not allowed by scenario?

Then, we shouldn't have it, either.

                              That or my other idea.
